yeh you get better quality and a more filtered search if you buy and register an itunes card but on the free you are less vulnerable to virusses downloading off kazza

If you go like one thread down, there's some good links posted in the "Downloading music on a mac" thread.
I definitely like sites like Sordo better than Kazaa and Limewire.

bittorrent is great for anything... music, movies, games, porn....  just hope the file your looking for has plenty of seeds...

but not so great for skate videos...
