I don't know what name they go under, but for a few years I skated in a Nike cut that looked a helluva lot like todays current SB Dunk lows. I have some Asics that are a little scuffed up from my broke days, too.

damn, was gonna make this topic last night.

Obviously dunks, dunk highs aren't bad either.
Some real good ones are vandals and vandal highs..

Some Nike running shoes about 10 years ago.  They gripped really well but the meshy stuff ripped really fast.

canvas tretorns were the best gripping shoe ever but only lasted four days

Reebok classic - the ones they turned into there skate shoes, that's like 15 years ago, they cost £20 lasted a 2 weeks, looked sick, had protection in them when all you could get was Strombolies and Dukes

Then Air Force 1's and various other Nikes that were in sales.

They all end up the same - ripped and in the bin
...can't believe this thread brought Donnie Murdo out of the woodwork!

neither shoe had much to any board feel, but i just used to it and just loved them. a shoe is a shoe, more or less.
