I skated them a bit today.
They are pretty thin, but i kinda like that.  I really like the toe box and the flick you get with them.  Add that to the vans waffle sole, and i think i'm i love.  But it was only the first date so i cant say for sure yet.

And the colorway i got (Keegan Sauder Coffee Bean) is suede and the yellowish part is like a suede corduroy.  I got them at the shop too, so i guess that means they are officially out.

Yeah, same outsole as all the Lakai Selects.  Super good so far.  No panel over the toe like every other skate shoe in history(almost all anyway) feels so good, but wears thru a bit quicker.  But at 50 bucks a pair, I don't feel so bad burning thru them.

got them the other day in the chima color. they skate a lot like eras, with a little extra bulk. i noticed that the sole comes thinner then most other classic vans, which i really like too. the canvas part ripped all the way through on the first day, but the suede should hold up. you also need to lace them tighter than how they come. itll feel a little weird for a few minutes, but if you dont do this, they look pretty wide when you look down.

Where did you find these?  So far all I've been able to find is the maroonish pair, and I can't skate red shoes for the life of me.  Anyone seen any of the black ones anywhere?

those are the ones, yeah just like you said without the small logo print, they are sick for sure, definitely the best out of all of josh's shoes.

i had them a while back, they are pretty much old skools, but last a little longer because of the suede toe cap that wraps around a little longer, they are a little wider as well, and the kind of feel like bowling shoes, i dont know i wasnt feeling them to terribly, but i wasnt not feeling them ether, they were just another pair of shoes i guess
