Was wearing Vans Old Skools and could barely walk in them because they were digging into my big toe joint so bad. Bought these thinking they would solve the problem, and same shit. Then I remembered when I fucked that toe up doing BJJ, so now I know it's not the shoes, but my foot.
Gonna try insoles, or to find wider shoes that still have a slim profile. Any suggestions?

BJJ? Dylan slips, blazers, maybe Chima 2s. I enjoyed them all.

brazilian jiu jitsu. and cool thanks, was between the Chima 2s and the adidas I ended up getting so I'll try those next.

I just went on a 5 week trip and skated every day in these. They're still going strong with, curiously, very little wear on the sole. Did not expect them to skate so well, or for the upper to hold solid where the toe seam is. Got another pair of SLB 97's to go back to after, kinda gonna miss the Scams.

Just got some NB 868's on sale. Always wanted to try these but the price tag was too steep. They're so comfy right outa the box and are way less bulky in person than they look on line.

I've been wearing these quasi x vans crockett 2 for a few months now

a while back they got all wet and dirty and some moisture seemed to get under the rubber coating on the toe.. looks kinda moldy but these things are tanks for vans

Finished skating my states so figured I'd try these lakai Owens out.
Only spent $19 because of this colorway so we'll see how they skate.
I'm still sick in bed so maybe I'll skate em tomorrow for a bit.

I loved my Owens. Skating some cons high tops right now but coincidentally have a pair of State Keys on the way. If they're anything like the owens I'll be happy.

Never skated the Owens but I've been extremely happy with my Keys which have been going for well over a year and some change now (in rotation with a few other shoes). Snug but not tight, quite comfortable.

Yeah, mine are essentially done at this point but I'm stubborn when it comes to retiring shoes so they're still being skated. Worth noting that pretty much every other shoe I've skated would've had the sole start to separate from the rest of the shoe at this point, but that doesn't even seem close to happening with these.

Forgot to mention I found these Vans Camachos at the thrift store for 2 bucks last week. Only skated them once but I've been wearing them for work. They're pretty okay.

Those Vans are kinda weird in the foot so I wasn't a big fan of skating them honestly. But I've got four other pairs of shoes I've been skating as well so I think I'm good for now. I'll always take donations though ;)

I get the impression from all of Planman’s posts that I’ve ever read that he might love skating more than anyone on the planet.

Just look at those things... the shoe in the first picture is more hole than shoe.

Started skating these wino g6 I got on a Black Friday sale. Easily my new favorite slip on. Nice and roomy for my wide clunky feet, and the G6 insole is amazing. Will buy again.

Just bought es Silo and I really like them. Want to give some shine to a non-sports brand skate shoe. They are very supportive and I am sure will skate well--minus some board feel you would expect not to have from a cup sole.

Toe box is less pointy than Accel Slim, so probably less flicky than some may want.

They fit like Nike Dunks, but are wider in the instep for those with flat feet. They are padded, but not 90s puffy.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq2qhCQg95h/

good for the sore feet crowd.
