How’s the sizing of the Janoski Air Max, Busenitz Pure Boost, and Etnies Scout? Also, which would you recommend?

I’m trying to find one shoe that makes my feet feel less shitty from: standing for 5-6 hours, sprinting and lifting weights. I’ve already tried some cross-training and running shoes. The New Balance pair, which I got, that retailed for $125 honestly didn’t feel great...slightly less painful but better for walking uphill through parks. Other shoes that I’ve gotten has more cushioning but still felt like shit.

swapped the insoles and these are nice and comfy, same kind of material that the lakai evo has.

Did you get those from the Zumiez sale, to go with the pair of State?

I bought a pair of Janoski Air Max (and a belt) for $45. Are they good for running, or are they strictly chillers? I might cancel the order or resell them (if it’s too late to get a refund).

I'll spend $40 to get free shipping and not shell out $10 for it.

That $40 turns into a shiny new thing, the $10 disappears and it's just gone that's that.

Kinda thinner than I expected but the internal booty feels really supportive.

I thought these were way too thin and swapped out the stock insole for a nike zoom air one.  I skated them maybe twice and then donated them.  I think the booty felt too restrictive for me.  I really liked the way they looked though.

Yes, they still have them at zuuumiez for cheap.

hahahahah same it wasn't a solid piece of suede under the logo, worse was the fact that it opened up the shoe when the tissue thin inner material tore later that day.

I have a pair (all white) and could only do 1 session in them. Way too thin under the ball of my foot. But they did look cool.
Still working my way through my Reynolds low stockpile.

I got the Straye suede slip ons - I dig em. I just cruise around and skate flat with em. I prefer the wino g6 slip-ons for actually trying.

City Cups in and on!

Diggin them so far.  If you like a snug shoe I'd go half size down, although I'm happy with the fit.  But as mentioned by someone else the toebox is pretty roomy, but this is something I enjoy, no pinched pinky toe.

I like the profile, but top down I think I feel the same as Jake looks like he does about them.  ( I had similar feels about the OG Lucas toe cap too though )  Loved it from a functional standpoint but wasn't crazy about how it looked.

From just opening them and wearing them around for a little bit ( It looks like rain forever so I'm not sure when I'll get to skate them )

Pro's ( just my opinions )
seem supportive
pretty flexible for a cup
roomy toe box
seem like they will be able to take a beating if the stitching holds up
lighter than I expected

Cons ( again just my opinions )
No tongue straps ( this kills me always )
The toe cap is not an actual cap, it meets up with the adjacent panels ( this could lead to the shoe opening up somewhere pretty quick )
basic insole which may or may not be an issue due to the construction of the sole of the shoe, we'll see after I get some time in on the board
sizing while good could be an issue for some as even half size down may still be roomy in the toebox and I know some of you like snug everywhere

Overall I like this colorway and think it will be a pretty good shoe, especially since I paid just over $60 for them right after they dropped.  @$80 if they didn't hold up well, I'd probably choose the Lucas Premiere over them as they have more appeal to me aesthetically to me and held up pretty well for me.

I haven't seen them in any shops, and I have some questions that the pictures online don't answer:

Is the insole removable? Is there a midsole, or any cushioning at all under the insole, or is the insole the only source of cushioning? Is there any arch support to speak of?
