Most of them are not much thinner in the sole. Mainly in width and padding.

2. Slander? You're kidding, right? Even if it was slander, any lawyer you approach will tell you that slander is one of the toughest types of legal fights to take to court. Just ask your lawyer.
3. Copyrights on your photos... when used in satire or review are completely fair to post since they fall under the Fair Use doctrine. Nobody is keeping you from getting paid, nor is anyone making money off of your stuff. They're making fun of you.
