you should consider getting a zagger, the zingers are too skinny for me, but i have 149's on mine.

yeah, get a zagger with 149s or 169s.  look into the zinger wheels aswell, they are 65mm and really soft.

Thanks. I was thinking of a nano but maybe it's too small? Can you stick indys on something that small? Thought it might end up being a hot rod. Maybe the zagger is the way to go...

you can pretty much stick indy's on anything, zagger's definitely the way to go, but it's somewhat harder to find.

I have some Jamie Thomas Thunders on my Zagger, as well as some 92 duro Spitfire Softers. Perfect setup, and it's no joke about the tre flips... the angles on the end of the tail actually let you fling the fuck out of it.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was thinking of getting that Reyes zipper thing. I'm not sure, but wont indy's be too wide for such a narrow board?Ace seem to make a really narrow truck but not sur how they are...? maybe setting it up with some old trucks first is a good idea...fuck.I know I probably wont regret it but a second board seems a bit flash!

i have the cheetah one as well. i know someone who has this one, it's just as fun. just be prepared for all the little kids at the park to beg to ride it.

i got some 4.25 fury trucks on my zinger.  .

i know ace makes smaller trucks as well as grind king and fury but you rarely see shops stocking small trucks.
you might have to order it online or even better, try to get your local shop to order them for you, they'll know what to look for and they'll probably give you some options too.

got a mic e reyes. used some old indy lows and risers and got some powell ATW. Cleaned up some old swiss... the thing flies!I wasn't sure wether it would be worth it but its fun to boot about on.worth it. using old trucks is a good way to keep it cheap.

...not only cheap, but you also don't have to break in any bushings, which is always a pain in the ass. Props on the setup!

Anyone that honestly gives someone else shit because of their setup can go die in a fire. I like skating all kinds of boards... I like picking up boards that have character to them. They offer a unique kind of fun depending on what they are (cruiser, long, regular, etc). The cats giving you hell are fashionistas... and they're irrelevant to a good session.

to be honest they're cool. just a laugh.

I know what they mean tho, you see people carrying these boards over here like Lv bags...

tho I must admit this boards changing the way i think about skating already...It's good.

That's cool to hear, too.

The older I get, the more I appreciate that skateboarding is simply rolling... everything else is a bonus.

^
That makes sense in my head, not sure how it translates in print.

Sure. Last night when I saw cardiel 16 I felt that too. It's a great thing. Getting old is a burden but it helps you see better. Thats how that new zip thing makes me feel too...

I put some old Indy 138s on mine(I got the Huf Zinger) with risers and Stereo Atomic Cruiser 64mm wheels. So much fun! The big ass wheels roll over anything and you can still ollie up curbs with it.

why don't you guys post a pic of your new setups.

maybe someone could start a thread for post your non-street setups.  post up some long boards, cruisers, locker boards, even custom made shapes and shit.  it could be fun.

hot rods are a go. a friend gave me a set of indy 215's and some big soft 65's awhile ago, and i recently put them on a skinny board as a joke. its rad as fuck, though. having the wheels stick out past the sides allows me to ride SUPER loose trucks, no risers with no wheelbite, ever.  its kinda squirrly, but now that i'm used to it, im hyped.

i had a zip zinger in october, such a good decision... i got so comftorable with it, people thought it was like like an extra setup but it was the only board i had at the moment. you just look down and feel so happy. its unexplainable, but how it feels is so right

i got a zagger the month after and it was super fun also. i couldnt choose between which one i had more fun, but i guess did more actual tricks on the zinger. i need to pick up another one soon!

Gotta Mic-E-Reyes fairly recently, just threw on some Indy's and Kryptonics. Should've thought more about what I was gonna get since the trucks don't really fit that well, but it's what you end up with when you throw shit together on impulse, lol.
Still great for cruising though.

That one looks sick. Also you might wanna look into the Zip Zinger wheels if you want a good cruiser wheel. I just got them a couple weeks on a fresh zinger and they are sick. Two pushes and you go forever.
