Hire 'Reynolds as a commencement speaker

This is an amazing website, it represents "public speakers".

I linked to the most "skate heavy page" but if you go to their main menus you can see how much most celebrities charge for a public speaking fee. A lot of em ask for over 50K.
They post awful pics of the people they are trying to sell, check out Andy Mac.
Some of the bios are funny, for example:

Detailed Biography of Andrew Reynolds

He was the son of Nathan Reynolds, a native of Orange County, New York. At the age of seven his family moved to Elmira, and here our classmate passed his school days, prepared for college, and passed his examination for entrance to our Class at the opening of Junior year, in 1861, and was graduated with us at the close of the course. He was a member of the Chi Psi fraternity. For the Class Day exercises Reynolds was elected orator to the faculty.

After graduation Reynolds studied law in the office of Smith, Robinson and Fassett, Elmira. In 7867 he was admitted to the bar, and in 1875 formed a partnership with Frederick Collin, with the firm name of Reynolds and Collin. In 1886, his firm was changed, by the admission of J. B. Stanchfield, to "Reynolds, Stanchfield and Collin," and so continued to the time of Reynolds's death, December 2, 1900. Reynolds was an excellent lawyer and held a prominent and commanding position in his section of New York State.  In his early years he was a very successful pleader before juries, and held his own even with such competitors as David B. Hill, Jeremiah McGuire, Robert Stephens and Jacob Schwartz.  Later his attention was turned to business cases, and in this way Reynolds became identified with many commercial enterprises, such as companies for the utilizing natural gas and for the development of oil wells. He prospered and accumulated a large property. Our classmate was a stanch Democrat and had a wide political field open before him, but he kept clear of politics for the most part, and confined himself closely to his profession and to his commercial enterprises.

As we remember him in his brief stay with us in college, so Reynolds continued to be in his busy and successful career - a quiet, unassuming man, kindly in manner, temperate in speech; a lawyer of strict probity and unquestioned talents; a business man of progressive spirit and credible achievement.

In June, 1876, Reynolds married Miss Rathbone, only daughter of the late Henry W. Rathbone. Mrs. Reynolds survives her husband, and is living in the family mansion on Main Street, in Elmira. There are three children, one daughter, Frances, and two sons, Henry and James R. Reynolds.

The family has a summer home in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, and it was here that Reynolds received the first intimation, July, 1899, by a paralytic stroke, of the illness, Bright's disease, that proved fatal the following year.

While many skateboards flock to California only after they have already honed their skills, Chad came of age and started skateboarding right in the mix.  He grew up in Alhambra, right down the street from Lance Mountain, and at the age of 11, he took some of his first runs on Mountain's own ramp.

Within two years of skating, he got on Alva, had already skated with legends like Christian Hosoi and Ray Barbee, and by 1991 he was riding for the Powell flow team.  Chad spent a number of years on the CASL and NSA amateur circuits, and by 1995 he was on etnies Shoes, appearing alongside Tom Penny and Jamie Thomas in the video High Five.  Then, in 1999, Chad landed a part in Osiris' The Storm video and subsequently inked himself a permanent spot on the map with some of the bigger handrail skating to date. Chad is a solid skater with consistent contest finishes.

Chad also spent time filming and appearing in the Lords of Dogtown movie. Look for Chad ion the Dew Action Sports Tour tearing up the park course.

Cory "Nasty" Nastazio was on top of the world when suddenly it all came to a screeching halt.

n April 2004, Cory's Honda Civic crashed into a tree, placing him in the ICU for two weeks. Cory suffered a hemorrhage on one side of his brain, broken ribs, and a collapsed lung. He listened to the wise words of his step-father, battled back and rallied to a full recovery.

When he's not throwing his trademark Superman Seatgrab or a Double Backflip, Nastazio is always busy. From filming a do*****entary called "Nasty's World," to appearing on TV shows and posing for magazines, Cory is everywhere. And we're not talking just within the world of action sports either. Famous for the tattoos, spiky hair, and crazy personality, Nastazio's popularity has splashed him onto the pages of Maxim, Rolling Stone, and Stuff magazines.

When it comes time to compete, this bad boy eases his superstitions by slipping a piece of wood in his pocket. Superstitious or not, something clicked at the 2002 Australian X Games and Nastazio scored his first gold medal. He's been back on the scene and again is ready to compete for another nasty summer.

Eito Yasutoko is one of the most talented and dynamic skaters in the sport of inline skating.

He was born July 29, 1983 in Osaka, Japan to professional roller skating parents. His name, the "cute" form of the Japanese pronunciation of the word Eight, comes from a maneuver his father made famous. With his little brother Takeshi by his side and his little sister learning to skate the halfpipe at just five years of age this family has become an institution within the skating world with Eito leading the way.

Eito began roller skating when he was two and half years old. He switched to inline skating when he was eight. In 1995, at just 12 years of age, he joined the US pro tour, two years later he won his first First Place finish in an ASA pro tour competition. Every year since then has seen him grow as a skater, claiming more prizes each year. On tour today, the biggest threat to his capture of a First Place finish is his little brother Takeshi.
Style

Eito is first and foremost dedicated to vert, skating in a halfpipe, as opposed to street, speed or big air. On a vert ramp, his style is best contrasted with his brother Takeshi's or compared to one of his rivals, Taig Chris. Eito goes big. He is famous for pulling tricks that other skaters are unwilling to attempt, at least in competition. Further, he can stack the most difficult tricks into one run, where other skaters will save the toughest tricks to cap a run, as a finale. For a time he was the only one pulling Flat Spin 1080's and Double Backflip 180's, until, emboldened by his success and needing to keep up to compete, other skaters followed suit. He is credited with inventing the Double Flat Spin, the 1440 Flat Spin and is still the only one pulling his signature trick, the 1080 California Roll.

Triumphing over some of the best BMX riders in the world, Maxxis sponsored rider Robert de Wilde has won the first round of the UCI BMX Supercross.

Held June 18-19 in the heart of the Alps, at the World Cycling Center in Aigle, Switzerland, the race featured a highly technical track. de Wilde took first place with a total time of 35.985, winning a cash prize of 3’750 Swiss francs.

The UCI BMX Supercross was the year’s first event in what UCI is calling “the premier international BMX racing series for 2005 and beyond.” Because the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing will feature BMX, the organization has said it plans to make the series a “platform for promoting the Olympic BMX format.”

The second race in the series will be held September 9-10 in San Jose, California, in conjunction with the Dew Action Sports Tour.

Maxxis congratulates Robert de Wilde on his victory and wishes him the best in his upcoming events.

As race time approached I was relaxed and comfortable with my preparation.

My crew for 2004 consisted of my wife Melinda, and our three youngest children: Sam, 12; Thomas, 8; and Kevin, 4. Kevin wanted to start the race with me but fortunately he fell asleep and we didn't have to fight that battle.

Right before the start of the 2004 Hellgate, feeling pretty good.

Based on the knowledge I gained from the training run (and also from my ignoble defeat in 2003), I started out fast. This is counterintuitive, but is the correct strategy for Hellgate, I believe. The first seven miles or so are some of the easiest on the course, even though they are all uphill. A big key to success at Hellgate is to run the easy parts of the course as fast as you reasonably can. Most of the course is either very steep or very rocky. So run the easy parts fast!

I was using a heart monitor to make sure I didn't goo too fast. I could tell from my heart rate that I was in good health - despite the fast pace my heart rate was under control and within the parameters I set for a long race.

I had the pleasure of running the first 20 miles with one of my favorite running/training friends, Neal Jamison. Despite "being in good health" both of us had a head cold, and were hacking and snotting all over the course. At one point near the end of the grassy road section before headforemost mountain, Neal coughed up a whole bunch of phlegm. I saw a massive cloud of mist explode from his mouth into my headlight beam and then watched as my breathing caused me to inhale the cloud. Well, I thought, I've probably done the same thing to him several times; hopefully we have the same bug anyway. (This kind of thing happens all the time, but you never know until you are running on a cold night with headlamps.)

I lost track of Neal when I stopped to change flashlight batteries right before the singletrack downhill rock garden that precedes headforemost mountain. I definetely made a good choice of flashlights. I had a good headlamp that I kept on the halogen bulb for most of the night, plus a very bright 1-watt LED flashlight. These two lamps gave me very good illumination and enabled me to run fast downhill, especially on the rocky sections. There was a new moon the day before Hellgate and the night was dark. Bring a couple of good flashlights to Hellgate - you won't regret it.

I saw Neal for the last time as I was going into Headforemost mountain. Coming out of Headforemost mountain. I completed the next section, down to Jennings Creek at a very good pace. This section is very rocky, and I fell several times. At this point I was only five minutes off of David Horton's pace when he tested the course last year, around a 15 hour pace.

"Remember, focus on what you have and what you're good at, and be thankful for what you have.

Don't take anything for granted. Believe in yourself, stay dedicated, and always think positive. The power is within, it's up to you." Hearing these powerful words uttered from mouth of Ronnie Faisst, you get the sense that Ronnie's business is far from finished.

As part of the Metal Mulisha, the supposed bad boys of the FMX world, you'd think that the message might be different coming from Faisst, but such is not the case. From his childhood days and his first dirtbike, an XR80 in Mays Landing, NJ, the dedication was always there. At 8 years old, he would ride until it was dark out, and snow, rain, and freezing temps couldn't slow Ronnie down. The most important thing to him was that he was riding.

By 1992, Ronnie was racing 125s and by 1994 he was racing 125 and 250 amateur class. He started racing pro class from 1995 to 1997. Ronnie moved up and went through all of progressions to be a top Supercross racer but as hard as he tried, he just wasn't going fast enough. In his own words, "I was getting smoked."
It was at this point that he met Brian Deegan and started hanging out with him at all of the races. Deegan spent alot of time trying to convince Ronnie to bail on Jersey and head out to California where the moto scene was different and freestyle moto x was beginning to blow up. After missing the qualifying at the Southwick Nationals, Ronnie packed up his van and headed out west. With $200 in his pocket, a piece of crap van and his 125 he moved in with Deegan. They began filming as much as possible. "We would go out in the hills and try to find the sick hits and bust tricks over them, little did we know that we were starting a whole new sport, Freestyle Motocross. During all of that, I met Dana from Fleshwound Films and started riding for Fleshgear." The rest is history and according to Ronnie, there is more of his history yet to be written.
"Things are going good and I have plans to make them better. I have been in the game since day one. I watched this whole sport blow up. I've done it all! But I'm not done yet, I still got big plans and big goals. I'm thankful for the life I live! See you at the top!"

His accomplishments include 1999 Silver Medal at the Gravity Games in team comp, 2002 Bronze Medal at the Gravity Games in Moto Challenge, 2004 Bronze Medal at the Gravity Games in FMX, Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huck Jam Tour, the Crusty Demons Tour and the 2005 Metal Mulisha Tour. From the looks of it, it looks as though this list isn't complete by any stretch of the imagination.

When you think of TJ Lavin, think incredible talent.

Growing up in Las Vegas, TJ was drawn to BMX racing as a young child, and showed potential as a top contender almost immediately. He soon discovered dirt jumping and before long found almost unparalleled success, having been crowned the "King of Dirt" in 1995. In the X Games he has medaled several times over, taking the bronze three times, the silver once, and the gold twice, his most recent medal being in 2004. He has also been a DK Dirt Circuit Champ, a champion in the Gravity Games, and a CFB Champion.

Outside of his successes on the track, TJ has also developed a plethora of talents off the track. He has appeared on Cribs and stared in a documentary film. He was also featured in his own video game, MTV Sports: TJ Lavin's Ultimate BMX.

Lavin is also a music producer. He has a studio in his home, and has worked with several young talents who are on the rise in the music industry, as well as producing his own tracks. He has shown a real gift for music, having taught himself to play the piano purely by ear. TJ Lavin is truly a young man on the make, poised to launch him self to even greater heights in the very near future.

Vov Vurnquist. A nigga with a wide penis and a thin sense of responsibility for the safety of himself and others around him. And with good reason... he kickflipped a fucking mega ramp... no grab.

As a young man, Vov would wander the streets of Rio De Janeiro, gawking at the assorment of street performers and mustachioed whores who inhabeted these grimy avenues. Somewhere between bristly hummers from cheap prostitutes and daily cocaine buffets, the Vov managed to stumble upon a decrepid skatepark. There he witnessed Ron "The Messiah" Whaley ollieing to fakie on a quarterpipe made of rusty copper. He was high on a cocktail of mescaline and GHB. From then out the Vov was addicted to the life of varials and arials.

At his first X-Games appearance he made the crowd of over 213,000 bust a simultaneous skate-nut. Women eveywhere were astounded by his one-footed backside smith grinds, as well as the girth of his genetalia. And the rest was history...

Today he lives in Vista, CA, where he skates his own mega complex and fucks his wife in the ass.
