Been laid up sick and just got HBO Now, so today I watched What We Do in the Shadows. Loved it.

Also watched Lucy, that Luc Besson, Scarlette Johansen movie... It was stupid.

Just watched this yesterday. Good movie, not great, but has a satisfying ending that I like.

Finally saw Fury Road and I really loved it ... then again I'm a mad max fanboy though.
My only gripe was that the bands/ drummers/ guitarist should have been playing mad crustcore - I kept imagining all the characters with Nausea patches, bum flaps and Dystopia t-shirts

finally watched the spike lee version of oldboy. i suppose it translated well but come on with that fight scene and no blood...originals are always better. the fucking octopus scene!

Went a watched The Nice Guys. Solid 6/10. The jokes and timing seemed way off. Considering it was done by one of my favourite dudes (who did kiss kiss bang bang - best movie) I was even more let down. Everyone else seemed to love the nice guys. Confusing.

Watched Money Monster cause there was nothing else on at the time and it was ok. Better than I thought it would be. Still average at best.

Hard Candy is still on my "To Watch When Ready" list. Ha.

Recent purchases / watches:

- Unfriended (a lot better than you would think).
- What We Do In The Shadows (good few laughs and likeable characters).
- Ex Machina (So glad I avoided any spoilers, this one is worth buying. Intriguing premise and had me guessing throughout. Unreal performances by 3 main actors).
- How to Train your Dragon (Watched it for the little one, ended up enjoying it more than her).

Yea Sausage Party looks great. But yeah Dory was great, follows the Pixar formula though, front loading all of the really heavy stuff and then it's a good time. So there's like 10 minutes of back story and then it's all post finding nemo. I'll probably have to watch it 100 more times when it comes out of DVD, but whatever, there's so much worse out there aimed at kids.

Also, there's a live action Pete's Dragon coming out that looks pretty good.

Watched The Hateful Eight last night. I am a fan of all Tarontino films. This wasnt my favorite of his but still a fun watch.
