I actually did hit another skater in the face with my shoe once at a demo doing a shoes fly off kickflip but he was cool with it.

^ Millers Corssing is fucking rad, I love the Coens, they make so many good movies

I just finished this, jesus what a dope movie, even more rad when my friend told me the backstory to the Kaufman story, I had no idea what this movie was about before going in but was really stoked on it, watch Being John Malkovich before you watch this

I watched Bringing Out the Dead the other day and it's really starting to piss me off how sick Nicholas Cage can be when he tries, yet he takes so many shitty roles.

Truth is, he's not a very versatile actor so only a few roles work for him. Btw, I also loved him in Bringing Out the Dead...

thats such an underrated movie, I seriously think no one has heard of it, it was made by Scorcese, shot by Richardson, had such a strong feel of taxi driver, dark, bleak, rainy city, thanks for reminding me of it im going to watch it as soon as i find it

not exactly a movie but i watched this documentary called "holes in my shoes" about this guy jack beers and his accomplishments.

incredible doesn't even begins to describe this guys story.  the guy started out as a strong man when he was in his teens, got hurt and became an iron worker, helped build NYC(ESB, RFC, RCMH, LC, etc), he was a self taught engineer, he worked on the manhattan project(atomic bomb) and helped shorten WWII.  he then became a dog trainer, won the westminster dog show, with that he made some connections and got into hollywood as a extra then became an full fledged actor and worked in over 200 films.
its kind of amazing that one guy accomplished so much, the doc was really good and inspiring in a lot of ways.  makes you think of all things you could be doing now and what awaits for you in your future.

i saw it on channel 13, check it out when you get a chance.

Wasn't bad but I wasn't head over heels for it either. Does have a pretty awesome ending though.

I know they revisited alot of the dudes after like Scheme was in the army, and Seen had his own tat shop and art shit going on.  I've only seen bits and pieces, anyone know if they did one with cap?  If so if you've got a link that'd be appreciated.

I rented Public Enemies, was pretty disappointing. I don't think I'm going to like a Michael Mann movie more than Collateral.

Had family movie night with my wife and 5 year old daughter last night.  The Polar Express in 3D is pretty dope.  I love 3D.

Nicolas Cage isn't always bad, Raising Arizona is awesome.
Also, saw Avatar last night and it was actually pretty cool, I'd recommend it.

its all personal preference though, I too was bummed on Public Enemies,  both because of the digital camera and the pace of the story
