Hadn't seen this one in about ten years, but I re-watched Withnail & I awhile ago and got an urge for some more Richard E. Grant.

over the last few days:

Control was on HBO last night as well. I should probably try getting out of the house soon..
I also watched Inglorious Bastards in portions over new years at a small get together at a buddy's place. Going to have to re-watch that one.

good call on the thin red line. it definitely doesn't glorify war. that guy would have way rather chilled with the natives on the solomon islands then go back to war

2 days ago i went to cinema with teenagers from the asylum center i'm working at.  basicly i got paid for watching 2010, which wasn't the worst movie but it's never ever going to be a movie that you have to watch twice.

and if you have filefront or megaupload links just post them. it's started to snow here again.

I've heard in interviews from people who worked on the movie that the clues he gave out really don't mean anything and it was just to throw people off.

Pretty much the whole movie I was thinking about how rad it would be if there actually was a strip joint that played Leonard Cohen.

.... I dunno, the movie made a hell of a lot more sense after glancing at them.
