played a drinking game to say the right thing earlier this week.

we drank any time anything was racist.

Do you mean Do The Right Thing? Because if so, that's quite a drinking game. I can't imagine being anything other than really depressed by the end of it or laughing it all off.

yes, that!

i always make that mistake.  to keep from getting depressed, i tried to watch it as a love story between mayor and mother-sister.

Hahaha I can see that working. Cute geezers.

Got to see it finally tonight, pretty excellent after the first watch. Definitely going to watch it again, has a great feel. I gotta say, the Joel and Ethan Coen create some great landscapes.

Cool hand Luke has my fav intro to a movie ever.

Just watched over 15 Mickey Rourke movies this month. Tonight was year of the dragon. Damn good. All of his early films are amazing.

Avatar was pretty tight actually.  I was surprised.

Last sick movie I saw was last night - Death Sentence.  Fucking awesome.  Kevin Bacon is an executive whose son is murdered in a gas station.  He goes on to follow a path a vigilante justice for the rest of his movie that destroys everybody.  It's seriously awesome.  Kevin Bacon shaves his head and becomes the raddest dude ever.

That's the name of the damn movie that was on FX the other night! Thank you, the guide wasn't working & I didn't bother to IMDb it. I loved John Goodman in that. Also in this, which I saw a few weeks ago:

John Goodman is the man, gunna have to give that Gigantic movie a watch.
Watched this today with my girlfriend and her younger brother:

Hadn't watched it in years, and needless to say I felt the need to nap halfway through.

Checked out Gigantic last night. Only redeeming quality was watching Zooey walk around being eccentric.

Put this movie on my iPod with English subs. I'll probably start it when I get some free time in the day.

although I dont totally agree with him, you can't watch La Haine on your iPod, it deserves a proper viewing on the biggest screen you can find

death at a funeral.

the girl i'm seeing asked me to watch it and i was skeptical at first, but it was ok. there was a gay midget, some L, and poop on the face... at a funeral. it's a british film and was nice and dry.
