Watched The Goods the other night.
Funny, but sadly a damn near accurate portayal of a car dealership...
I get to see Devil semi regularly and his little dude is rad as hell. My wife and I aren't into having little ones, but that'll give me more time to be a god uncle and teach Devil's spawn to slang weed.

I wanna see Crazy Heart pretty bad, Jeff Bridges is a good man.
Also, Inception will be pure craziness!

That profile shot of Leo falling backwards into the tub looks so good. And the city folding in on itself.

crazy heart sucked. maggie gyllenhaal was annoying and colin farrel is a total waste and the whole story was lame. bad should have barfed and died and the kid should have been kidnapped and dismembered. jeff bridges killed it though.

paranormal activity.  definitely freaked me no matter how much i tried to deny it.  the first version i watched of it was the "original" ending with - SPOILER ALERT! - the girl sitting next to the bed all day until the police show up.  the image of her standing in place next to the bed for hours made the hair stand up on the back of my neck.  in context, that is one of the most frightening images i've ever seen in a movie, but once it happened the first time (about half way through), i knew exactly how the movie was going to end.

That's bad news, ah well.
Paranormal Activity scared my skivvies off. Although, many people said they weren't scared, different types of spooks I guess.
Edit: I agree, Maggie Gyllenhaal is annoying and a dolt.

it wasn't bad, it wasn't awesome.  just worth a watch sometime if you're bored and have nothing better to do.  i've got a dvd screener copy of it if anyone wants it.

Been watching a lot of movies lately. Nothing else to do when it's below 14 degrees outside.

It's strange. I don't even know if I recommend it but it can certainly start up a conversation. My review: The first 20 minutes are infuriating; I was close to picking a different movie. But then it became funnier with Jason Ritter's characters attempts at being cute & kind with Marianna Palka's character. Then I just began to hate the girl & her impromptu, wild actions only fueled my belief that all women are fucking crazy. He was a bit of a blind fool in love though. The end takes on a serious note and they both have their problems. It's seriously flawed, but like I said--it leaves a lot to talk about.

Watched Hitchcock's The Birds again.  Really surprised Hollywood hasn't tried to remake this classic.

Critics were the last thing I was listening prior to this movie. I knew I would like it regardless of what was said about it. Having said that, I did read a critic in my local paper who called it "a glorified B-movie", which just seems ridiculous to me.

Some critics also hailed Avatar as "the new Star Wars", and it seems almost all of them loved it, hard to judge a film based on someone elses opinion

I really want to see it, sounds like its something different from Scorcese
