I enjoyed this movie a lot. I need to watch it again as it was a lot to take in after one viewing.
I like that you start to notice the cadens stalker (the old man) in subsequent viewings.

I feel like the Coen brothers are almost transcending film at this point, if that makes any sense. What I mean is that--for me at least--whatever they put out is going to be good, no matter what.
Also, Deakins is one of the greatest cinematographers. Him and Tom Stern consistently create wonderful movies.

This one was pretty good.  Jammy Stuart gives this egghead squarehead a real hard time.  Minorly co-starring the righteous dude who battled Cool Hand Luke in the infamous egg eating contest.

I guess they remade it with Dennis Quaid?  Recipe for crapulence.

Watched Harry Brown tonight.  It's like a british Gran Torino (not really) with Michael Caine.  Starts slow as fuck, but it's worth it.

I just saw a trailer for that last night, I'm always interested in movies where old men take on action roles--it gives me an idea of where I could be at physically at that age if I tried.

Saw Alice in Wonderland 3D over the weekend and i ate like a shit-ton of mushrooms first. I just wanted to grab Alice and give her the biggest hug the whole time I was watching it. Such a lovable character. I just want to spend the whole day with her and talk about cute boys we know. ugh.... I am longing for a friend like that lately.

While that may be true, True Grit in no way needs to be redone.  I'm sure it'll be awesome though.

It might be a good idea to keep away from the shrooms too... eh! Anyway, Avril Lavigne music in a Burton's movie is disturbing enough...

Watching Full Metal Jacket, pretty good flick. Though I'm really more eager to see Kubrick's 2001: Space Odyssey.

If I smoke before that movie it's almost guaranteed I'm going to fall asleep just before the end, it's very long. Having said that, it's also very wonderful, I wish I could watch it in a movie theater as intended.

i had no expectations for this movie cause new zombie movies usually suck, especially when they are supposed to be funny. turns out it was fucking awesome, and that chick from superbad made it that much better

I really just have no faults with it. Every time I watch it I'm reminded why it's one of my favourites for an entirely different reason.

Fucking loved it. I rarely make the effort to buy movies, but I went out and bought this on DVD shortly after seeing it.

Hilarious, especially the diner scene.

Fucking loved it. I rarely make the effort to buy movies, but I went out and bought this on DVD shortly after seeing it.

I rented this on Xbox Live and fell asleep about 3/4 through the movie. I forgot that the rental expired after 24 hours and I never got to see the end of it.  Gonna have to download it I guess.
