Saw this for the first time the other night. How did I miss out on this for so long? Its a damn good movie with damn good acting. The montage of him going through all the people he hates was especially sick.

Dog Day Afternoon. Pacino was great in it.

Found this flipping through a box of cheap dvds at a record store. Been looking for it for awhile and found it for three bucks. Will be watching this next.

Angry because he stirs up emotions inside you that you never knew were there?

But on the real, why don't you like him mamabwaye?

I guess I haven't given his acting too much of a chance.
He just seems like such a self-absorbed prick. He tries so
hard to be viewed as a humanitarian.

so good. the flying guillotine is my new favorite weapon. plus, the movie had a good soundtrack (krautrock and early electronica)

to avoid gooberizing myself i will try and sum it up in one sentence:

a blind tibetan monk who is a master of the flying guillotine gets a message from his two students saying that they were killed by the one armed boxer (they dont explain how these dead students got this message off [perhaps they used a portal from the afterlife?]) so the monk goes to a fighting tournament where he knows the one armed boxer will be and he and a gang of misfit foreigners (which includes a chinese guy painted dark brown with a glue on beard trying to pass off as a indian yoga master [who can extend his arms when he fights]) try and hunt dont down the one armed boxer...

here, you'll get the picture if you watch this

I mean, it's not really a favorite of mine, but at the same time
those days were before he 'fell off' in my eyes.
