Ha, was about to post this, I've been on a Daniel Day Lewis streak lately:

my left foot is probably my favorite though.

There will be blood might be my favorite of his work with gangs of new york in a close second.

This might be weird but I really enjoyed the Hill Have Eyes remake when I watched it the other day. Skyline on the other hand is by far the worst movie I have ever spent money on. When the first brain was removed the whole theatre I was in was cracking up

the ending is so fucking weird, random & regular. hahahaha!! i love going to the drive-in so i can watch a bunch of shitty movies at a low price and get stoned/drunk at the same time.

Whoa, I've watched both Inglorious Basterds and Gran Torino in the past couple days.  I watch a lot of movies out here in Afghanistan.  Tonight is Fulci's Zombi and Watchmen

All of those movies are so damn good. Watchmen is underrated for sure. But i haven't seen zombi, you have to tell me how it is.

Watchmen is so overlooked. it's a really enjoyable movie visually and plot wise. is it the regular version or director's cut? i know you're a Buddy Bradley fan HATE!, but have you read Alan Moore's Watchmen? the comic itself is perfect. i hope that if you haven't read it, that the movie doesn't ruin it for you. i want to hear your thoughts on Zombi and Watchmen once you watch 'em. stay safe out there.

what the hell is this? i want to see this now just off the poster alone. looked it up on imdb and it says it cost 12 million to make and it only grossed $146,000. damn, that's a big loss. also, the main character Preest is a masked vigilante detective in a future London Metroplolis. is he supposed to be Rorschach's lil bro or some shit? big time swag jacker.

I know that HATE! has read it.  Sometimes though, it's better to separate the movie from the source material, just to enjoy it.

Ugghhhhhh... Saw Enter the Void last night.  If anybody's thinking of watching it, I HIGHLY suggest you turn it off at the hour and a half mark.  The last hour of the movie is completely pointless, endlessly annoying, and super indulgent.

Just watched Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead- fucking hilarious and horrible in the best ways imaginable (free stream on Hulu). Troma films are an automatic win to me.

I love Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, too... saw it a few times. Fun self contained universe for the characters. Just caught Rock n' Rolla as well and I'm really hoping there's a sequel. Also just saw Harry Browne and rewatched 30 Days of Night. Love both of those as well.

Calvaire's shit, Enter the Void was so so and I stand alone was pretty brilliant.

That Franklyn movie's not worth the time. Not an underrated classic or anything.

Calvaire was brilliant! Bit like marmite clearly as I have a completely different view.
Why was it 'shit' like, reasons being:....

I would agree with you on enter the void being so-so but I put that down to it being too long and also the expectations you may have had of him as a director beforehand.  Although I think the effects made up for any disappointment as a whole.

Its a great movie, takes a while to piece it together. Way too much going on for my lazy ass to even begin to describe it.  Definatly worth checking out.
