Watched quite some films lately

Walk the line (seen it before but I really like it)

The new Harry Potter wasn't too bad. I'm not the corest potter fan and I've never read the books but I enjoy the movies and this was one of the better ones in my opinion

Inception FINALLY. My mind was blown, loved the music, acting, the story (of course),.. fucking great movie, soo well directed. Without a doubt best director oscar and a few more.

The godfather part II. The amazingness of this film doesn't need any explaining.

Got The Godfather part III on my "next" list along with The Green Mile (again) and Se7en (I'm ashamed for not having seen this one yet)
And I can't wait till True Grit comes out

Going to see this tomorrrow, it's getting an insane limited release in my area, but I don't mind making a little trip.
I'm really excited to see this, I'm hoping it's as good as people are saying, which I'm sure is true.

how was it? Im really looking forward too it as well.

I've been watching a slew of these ESPN 30 for 30 documentaries. Most are great, and its interesting to see how the different directors approach controversial topics. I just watched the one on OJ Simpson and his murder case, wow it was an eye opener. I think I was too young to truly appreciate what was going on and how it would shape media and entertainment with "reality" tv shows. Basically showed how so much shit was popping off in sports and around NY, the Rangers had just won the stanley cup, the FIFA World Cup had just started in Chicago, and no one gave a fuck (not like Americnas care about hockey or soccer much anyways). Good doc though check it out.

This ones good too its about Reggie Millers ridiculous last second shots against the Knicks in the playoffs and his feud with Spike Lee

I love 30 for 30, the Reggie one is so fucking good. Loved when him and John Starks got into it. Crazy Reggie never got a ring considering how clutch he was.

The Len Bias doc was truly, truly heartbreaking. Not sure if you caught that one. Almost forgot "four days in October". Probably the best comeback/series I've ever seen in my life. I'm not even a Red Sox fan, but that series had me on my toes. Check that one out.

Four days in October was my favourite one, has the most epic music and footage from everywhere in the field, I loved the interviews with Kevin Millar that were cut in

I got to preview that movie and give my opinion about the commercial for it. I said there needed to be more tits and less talking.

I've never seen a Henry Fonda movie but he is spectacular.

This movie made me hope and pray that Corddry will never get a bigger role than a cameo. Ever.

yeah man, that movie was awesome.
So, I saw Black Swan last night and it was amazing, favourite movie in a while. Natalie Portman is the best, I don't care about awards all that much, but I hope she doesn't get the shaft. I really can't say enough good things about this movie, I had super high expectations and it met them and exceeded them. Plus, it was pretty horrifying at points, which was nice.
Probably going to see it again Saturday, seeing as it gets a wider release this Friday I think--I still can't believe it was only playing at one theater in Toronto, wth.

Annnnnnyyywayyyyyyy, GO SEE IT!

Hahahah, yeah, all good movies need less talking.

Oh yeah, Biutiful looks great, saw the trailer and I'm always down for some Inarritu drama.
And Blue Valentine.
