Man, this movie was amazing.  It broke all the rules.  Imagining how much fun it must have been to make brings me great joy.

To all non swedes , do u guys watch the milenium trilogy with subs ? or dubs ?
And they are pretty good , kinda swedish corny sometimes , typical swedish actors . but they all did good

Its weird america remakes so many movies , if anything is good they just remake the thing to america and cash in , but with some changes that made the original good

I remember one bmovie about a brittish submarine crew during ww2 ,the story was however remade to be a american crew ...

Saw the Millenium Trilogy  in the theater and they all had English subtitles.

Exit Through the Gift Shop was awesome..

I just watched slacker for the first time after living in Austin my whole life, it was weird and seems like a way for people 20 years ago to justify not doing anything.

Slacker is amazing.

I think the reasons for the remake hysteria that Hollywood is going through right now are threefold:

1) Many Americans have an extreme aversion to reading, even when it comes movie dialogue (I have personally heard many people in the US complain about subtitles for this reason)

2) Many Americans have a hard time empathizing with characters who aren't like them (i.e. "furrners")

3) Screenwriters have a hard time coming up with "original" plot lines, and an even harder time getting anything without established earning potential made in today's studio system, with fewer and fewer people actually willing to spend the money to see a film in theaters.

A friend had me watch this because in it was 'the scariest scene he's ever seen in a movie'. I was depressed for a solid week after watching. hands down the most realistic movie about nuclear war ever made. shits too real.

and my friend was right, some of the scariest scenes i've ever seen, which is pretty crazy considering it was made 30 years ago.
sanch dont be mad because your wife used to clean my mansion

Currently watching:

I introduced it to my 15 month old niece earlier this week, she watched the whole thing with me, my sister said she never heard her be so quiet for two hours unless she's sleeping or watching a Yo Gabba Gabba marathon.

I watched Enter the Void last night.  Shocking film.  The movie is unlike anything I've ever seen.  Graphic sex on acid, graphic abortion depiction...You get to watch a penis enter a vagina and cum, from inside the vagina.  The movie is a bit long, but I would definitely recommend watching it at least once.
