Super cheesy, but too good.

I always though it would be funny if some guy thought he knew everything about Chinese history/mythology by quoting this movie.

Just watched Badlands. I really enjoyed Kit's continual justification of his thoughtless murders.
Though I suspect I ought to be less impressed considering this was only several years after the peak of Freud's fame.

Still, always nice to see a film without some true wit, rather than blunt, unintelligent humor.
I have nothing to ask but that you would remove to the other side, that you may not, by intercepting the sunshine, take from me what you cannot give?

I'd been meaning to see this for a while and bought it last week. It's good, very funny. I mean how can you go wrong with Rodney Dangerfield and Joe Pesci?

If you guys get the chance you should check out 'I Saw The Devil' by Kim Ji-Woon.  One of my favorites from this year.  Choi Min-Sik (Main character from Old Boy) is in it after not appearing in any Korean films for a while because he was on strike.  Probably one of the better revenge films to come out over the past few years.  Here is the red band trailer:

looks sick. love ji-woon. saw the good, the bad and the weird recently. i thought it was great. it was kind of
goofy and funny but at the same time brilliant cinematography.

probably great.

Got around to watching 'Dogtooth' the other night.  It's very similar to the film 'Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom' in terms of what you can get people to do when they're cut off from civilization/controlled by people in power.  It's got some crazy scenes in it but also has a mix of black humor throughout.
