I most recently took a Film Appreciation class were the teacher played a lot of good movies. however, some of them were crap. I'm not a fan of art house films. But I do like good quality films. Here's several that I've watched over the past two months.

(another great Ceon brothers film)

if you've seen Fargo then you will know that the dude on the left, is one bad ass M Fer

here's a few goodies I've seen on Netflix in HD lately
(if you haven't seen a Clockwork Orange in awhile, I highly recommend seeing it again.)

There's a ton more. I can't wait to see the new version of True Grit (another Coen Brothers film)
but I don't think it comes out on Blu-Ray until June or July

Also, my girlfriend has a DVD burner on her computer.
Is there any good website that ya'll can direct me to, so I can
download some stuff for free? Blockbusters are gone and I hate paying for on demand movies

Use this site to download a torrent download program
www.utorrent.com

Then to find the actual files use a Torrent search engine like this http://torrentz.eu/

Or literally just type "torrent" into google at the end of any movie you can think of and youll find a link

Yea this pretty much. Also, http://www.thepiratebay.org is really good, but occasionally it goes down.

If you stick to older movies and foreign films, you should have no worries about copyright and all that. If you're downloading shit that's still in theaters, your ISP may contact you.

Holy fucking shit. I've been missing out on this movie for too long. Easily now ranked in my top 10 films. Everything was superb from the story, cinema, music, and acting.

thanks for the links frisco and kab!

Here's a good one I found on Netflix HD tonight
It was directed by Christopher Nolan, the genius behind Momento and Inception.
It was exciting till the end

Oh, and in my previous post I had mentioned that "Dog Day Summer" with Al Pacino (1967) was
a good film to watch on Netflix. I finally got to finishing the second half and I felt like it would never end.
so.... I'm de-recommending it. It was pretty bad actually

I need to see this. Anything the Coen Brothers touch is fucking magical

Dog Day Summer I lol'd

I just finished watching Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, wow, cant recommend it enough. Sam Rockwell killed it, I cant remember a movie of his where he wasnt great. It had a really good cast too, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, Clooney and Rutger Hauer. Clooney's directorial debut, im gonna watch Good Night and Good Luck tonight.

Confessions of a dangerous mind - If I had a hammer

Watch this movie

Watch it if you're a fan of Ginsberg/Poetry, it's a good enough watch. The cartoon interpretation is pretty cool.
