Saw Gangster Squad and thought it was poor, did a review here: http://thedarjeelingblog.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/gangster-squad-review.html

Also saw Lincoln, thought it was phenomenal!

I kinda liked Gangster Squad. Not amazing, but it was an enjoyable way to spend some time

I know lots of people have already posted about this, but just saw The Raid: Redemption and thought it was rad. I don't really like fighting movies normally, but this was awesome to watch.

I saw it too and was wondering, did you guys watch it in Indonesian with subtitles, or the dubbed English version?

The other great thing about the Super Bowl: new trailers, though not necessarily of good movies though, Fast Six looks beyond crap, but I will still go watch it

FAST & FURIOUS 6 - Super Bowl TV Spot (2013) [HD]

Saw Flight, I was impressed by it. Loved John Goodmans character.

I saw Killing Them Softly, I wrote a review about it that I'll post here soon, but in short I was disappointed by it. Andrew Dominiks first film "The Assassination of Jesse James" was so good that it would be tough to follow up.

His first film is Chopper, have to agree with you on Killing them softly though. I read somewhere that the first cut of the film was over 3 hours, not enough Gandolfini in my opinion.

I thought there was too much Gandolfini, love his acting but his character seemed pointless. Also all the Obama/Bush stuff was way too heavy handed.

Finally caught this in the theatre. I thought it was fucking fantastic. Avoided pretty much all of the cliches and bullshit that I'd have thought would be inevitable in a Hollywood movie about killing Bin Laden. Chastain did a great job, very nice to see a well-written, subtle female protagonist in a movie like this.

frankenweenie - Thought it was great, classic Tim Burton.

Beasts of the Southern Wild - Thought it was good, a little confusing at times but all in all well done.

Seven Psychopaths - Good, not your typical action movie.

It doesn't always work, but when it does you're in for a mind fuck. Pretty funny at times too. Reminded me of Cronenburg's Naked Lunch.

great movie, especially if you're a fan of sushi or food in general

Watched "Tokyo Playboy Club" it was a pretty funny movie throughout, didn't have what it takes to be great, but a good watch nonetheless

In case anyone's interested, Criterion have a 24 hour 50% off sale going right now. Took the opportunity to kickstart my bluray collection with Days of Heaven, Paris, Texas, and the Qatsi Trilogy. Pretty stoked.

Searching for Sugerman just won best documentary so I'll throw in a shout out here.  Gripping and touching story that ultimately ends in inspiration.  Humble guy, amazing artist.  Watch it!
