When they open the box there's this noise that sounds like a hoarse Indian in the throes of a peyote chant.

yes.
"yes." as in good enough to tell a friend to download it with his superfast internet, or "yes." as in if you haven't seen the original one?

yes as in yes to your question mate. yes, the remake of Funny Games is good. it is simply scene for scene a remake of the first one. but despite of no change whatsoever really, it is good enough to tell your friend to download it on his super fast internet.

No Country For Old Men

I was expecting a more action-packed ending like the rest of the movies of that nature, but a very good movie overall.

David Cronenberg's Videodrome is a fun watch.
my first 2 years of college have been impressive. Can you say the same?

the way it ended surprised me a bit, but it was a good ending. Besides, they had to make it end like that to get the key points of the movie across. Llewelyn talking with the girl at the pool was a fantastic scene, as well as his wife debating the coin toss.

you guys don't know Heavy Metal Parking Lot?  seriously, drop what you're doing this instant, google it, and buy the dvd.  it's this 15-minute documentary these dudes made in the parking lot of a Judas Priest and Dokken show in bumfuck Maryland back in 1986...a bunch of the craziest, drunkest, stoney-est redneck metalheads just getting wasted and talking about how metal rules, Priest rules, punk sucks, the fact that they're wasted, etc.  mullets, cut-off shirts, dumb girls, fucking hilarious.  it's one of my favorite movies of all time.

i gotta check out the movie you're talking about, too.

* "what do you think about Rob Halford?"

ugliest girl ever: "he's great, sings great, group's great"

* "and Dokken?"

uge: "they're great"

the dvd has a bonus where they go find some of the people in the movie, including fucking ZEBRA DUDE!  he's so embarrassed.  it's rad.

American Me

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of retarded kids and a van full of paraplegics.

holy fuck, watched that last night, mortifying.

i was decently depressed with the ending though, it took a while to take it in.

i hate it when directors "present" movies, like quentin just throwing his name on hostel and shit like that

I was gonna make a whole seperate topic about this movie but opted not to

great film though.
