Old Boy's "twist" ending was a little too M. Night Shamalamadingdong for me.

I watched these last night:

Pretty tasty with some killer zither tunage.  Joseph Cotten was in Shadow of a Doubt too, where he's a stone cold gnarler.

I don't know anything about design stuff, but this was good shit.  Pretty much any movie about people who are obsessive about sorta obscure things is usually pretty interesting.  That Spikermann turd was cool.

The Third Man is in my all time top 10.
GSH is shit by all accounts. Apparently, the best film on football fans is Ultra (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100835/).
Have yet to find a torrent for it, though...

yeahman, crazy crazy movie. But seriously amazing.   Unfortunately I hear hollywood is trying to remake it and wants Will Smith to play the lead.  I wonder if he'll eat a live squid??

I liked GSH, though Football Factory was much better.  Couldn't find that Ultra movie on netflix either, bummer.  Does it have a different name in english?

One of my favorites. A movie that can completely exhaust me after I'm done watching it is gold. And Please God, don't make a remake.

A complete history of my sexual failures looks fantastic.

The Orphanage was pretty gnarly, at least I thought it was creepy as hell

i cant even really remember the reasons why, but i didnt like the orphanage or 'el orfanata' or whatever
that scene where the old lady gets hit by the bus was pretty great though

recently watched the first batman movie that tim burton did, and also 'mask of the phantasm'
i like the first batman with the joker better than 'dark knight', and 'mask...' is way better than you'd think an animated batman movie would be

man mask of the phantasm has to be one of the sickest batman stories ever, its one of the most violent animated batmans as well

Saw that a while ago, I did enjoy it a lot. Didn't really scare me, but it certainly held my attention.

I'm thinking more some ridiculous Japanese movie or something, someone's gotta have something in mind.

Great movie.  You know it's part of a trilogy, right?

A couple newer Korean films that I dig:

Crossing

The Good, The Bad, and the Strange (A Korean take on spaghetti Westerns--set in Colonial Manchuria). It's good.

Memoir of Murders is a pretty good flick about the true story or a serial killer and shitty police who don't know how to do their job.

The good the bad and the strange looks tight im definitely gonna check that out

It has pretty rad cinematography, which is why I bought it, story gets a little sappy at times but a good film

Yeah, I'm serious.  The stories aren't connected but they're all damn good. .  It's Park Chan Wook's revenge trilogy.  I think Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is my favourite of the three.

Sympathy For Mr.Vengeance

Sympathy For Lady Vengeance

yes! The early to mid 90's was a great time for cartoons. The shit that gets out churned out today is so diluted and watered down.
