I liked GSH, though Football Factory was much better.  Couldn't find that Ultra movie on netflix either, bummer.  Does it have a different name in english?

Nah, don't think so...
Bummer indeed.

Have you seen It's a Casual Life? Made before FF by the same people, I believe.

just finished watching this new clint eastwood shit. good movie, if youre sensitive to racial terms and shit you might wanna skip it but it was a really good watch. clint plays an awesome bitter old racist.

watched this last night.  It was so good, Clint killed it.  But everyone else in the movie looked like they'd never acted before.  Seriously,  what was going on with that???  Still a good movie though.

Its a shame it took this long for me to finally watch it, so good
did you watch the original or redux? the original is spades better than redux, but harder to track down.

i watched no country for old men again and it just gets better with each watch. it's cool because the book is amazing, but the coen brothers really made the film a bit different, but really good in it's own right.

I bought a DVD that included both, watched the original, planning to watch the Redux this week.

One line that stuck out to me was one of the dudes, GI Joel (which stands for gastro-intestinal Joel), said something like:

"I'm not a genius.  I just focus on one small thing so much that I do it better than most people".

This thread inspired me to watch Apocalypse Now.  I'm not sure which I downloaded, it didn't say redux anywhere and it was 2h26m long.  What's the difference.

Its true, he was a really good villain in Mission Impossible 3, I know I know, I also really like him in Magnolia. 25th hour is one of my favourite movies, I think the "race/hate/rant" scene has to be one of the most powerful Spike scenes, also is my favourite Norton Monologue of all time.

This is the one im talking about for those who havent seen it.

I agree, the guy is amazing in everything he does.  But I lost a lot of respect for him when I heard about how big of a dick he was.   Capote was filmed where I live and a know a bunch of people that worked on set.  They said he made everyone's life there a living hell and a bunch of people were considering changing their line of work when the production was done.  He was totally one of those extreme "you are all below me, don't speak or even look at me unless you are another lead actor or director" kinda guys.  kinda took him down a few notches after hearing that.

There are genuinely douche baggy people in Hollywood, Phillip Seymour Hoffman may very well be one of them but it shouldnt bring down anyones perception of him as an actor, pretty much everyone in Hollywood could be called a douche, one person gets a bad look from them or doesnt get an autograph from them and then someone says "yea that actor is an asshole", but forcing people to want to get out of the industry? He must have been really bad

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.
