Has anyone seen Slumdog Millionaire yet? I want to, but I'm not sure when I'm gonna be able to convince my friends to journey all the way across the city in this -25 bullshit.

It was really good. One of the best movies i've seen this year.

i was just looking at it on IMDB and it sounds pretty awesome. i also noticed this in the Trivia section for the movie:

"Mercedes-Benz asked that its logos be removed in scenes taking place in the slums. The company, according to Danny Boyle, did not want to be associated with the poverty-stricken area, fearing that that might taint its image."

In preparation for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" I watched Fincher and Pitt's other gem, se7en, I have to stress how ridiculously awesome this movie is, Morgan is so damn legit, star studded cast, overall an amazing movie, watch it if youve never seen it, watch it again if you have already.

agreed. that title just makes the movie seem so boring for some reason.

The Third Man is in my all time top 10.
GSH is shit by all accounts. Apparently, the best film on football fans is Ultra (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0100835/).
Have yet to find a torrent for it, though...
I liked GSH, though Football Factory was much better.  Couldn't find that Ultra movie on netflix either, bummer.  Does it have a different name in english?

Nah, don't think so...
Bummer indeed.

Have you seen It's a Casual Life? Made before FF by the same people, I believe.

just finished watching this new clint eastwood shit. good movie, if youre sensitive to racial terms and shit you might wanna skip it but it was a really good watch. clint plays an awesome bitter old racist.

watched this last night.  It was so good, Clint killed it.  But everyone else in the movie looked like they'd never acted before.  Seriously,  what was going on with that???  Still a good movie though.

Its a shame it took this long for me to finally watch it, so good
did you watch the original or redux? the original is spades better than redux, but harder to track down.

i watched no country for old men again and it just gets better with each watch. it's cool because the book is amazing, but the coen brothers really made the film a bit different, but really good in it's own right.

I bought a DVD that included both, watched the original, planning to watch the Redux this week.

One line that stuck out to me was one of the dudes, GI Joel (which stands for gastro-intestinal Joel), said something like:

"I'm not a genius.  I just focus on one small thing so much that I do it better than most people".

This thread inspired me to watch Apocalypse Now.  I'm not sure which I downloaded, it didn't say redux anywhere and it was 2h26m long.  What's the difference.
