high tension.
i only saw the first 15 minutes of it, up until the point where the short blond haired girl puts on her headphones and masturbates in bed.  it gave me a boner and boner inducing flicks are by definition good.
i'll check out the rest of the flick when i get a chance but what i did see was pretty gruesome/intense.

I had never heard of that movie and somehow ended up with 2 copies of it at my house, one of the more gore filled confusefests ive endured. murderous broads are always the best in bed.

Wasn't the opening scene with the "Killer" fucking the decapitated head the fucking gnarliest thing ever!? Seriously it was gnarly

Frisco, I'm glad you ended up enjoying it; after boosting about how I liked it so much, it would of sucked if you just hated it.

guile,
i heard it was a bit confusing, it didn't help they dubbed it.  still though, i wanna see the masturbation scene again.
nothing turns me on more than watching a girl play with herself.  its my most requested sexual favor from any girl i've ever dated....well outside of blowjobs, thats automatic.

leadpencil,
hell yeah!  i was all like, "aww shit, this dudes getting head", then he tossed the frickin head out his truck....WTF!
i loved how the killer kicked the dudes head through the banisters then chops his head off using a frickin dresser!
considering those 2 scenes were in the first 15 minutes, i can only assume it gets gnarlier as it goes on.
i really gotta watch the rest of this movie.

yeahman, high tension is pretty gnarly.  The french have been making some pretty gruesome horror movies as of late.  I saw this one a few months ago, and some scenes in it I'm pretty sure will never leave my head:

When I heard that they were remaking "last house on the left" It made we want to watch the original.  Damn it was so disturbing.

Murder Party:  Best Indie slasher flick made in a while..it was made by a bunch of childhood friends.

Attack Girls Swim Team vs. the Undead:  The gore and Zombies suck, but the T&A is awesome.  There is a great lez scene by two sisters.

Slime City:  The end gore scene is awesome...

Saw it a couple of months ago. It's a pretty heavy film, multi-layered and surreal. Some funny bits as well. I'd recommend, just be warned, it's not easy on the gray cells.

Good calls on those Frisco. I watched La Haine yesterday based on one of your posts in here, seriously incredible. So well directed and the ending was awesome. Some of those weird zoom/pans actually made me say "wow" out loud, just an awesome movie visually.

I watched RocknRolla a few days ago and I was actually pretty into it.   I'd seen Lock Stock and Snatch a long time ago, but after seeing Rocknrolla, i really wanted to watch them again.  I ended up watching them both last night.  I think Snatch is my favorite of the three.  Brad Pitt's character is so dope.

I agree, Snatch was the best of the three, I enjoyed rocknrolla though, Gerard Butler is dope I hope hes going to be in more good films.

Mooley glad you liked La Haine, I first saw it when I was really young and did not appreciate it at the time, the only word I can think of to describe the cinematography in that movie is "inspiring" not to mention the dope cast and really good story/script, all around an amazing film

I have 5 movie torrents on the go, some I have seen some I haven't, needless to say though I'm always stoked on new movies
the 5 on the go: Big Fish, Heat, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, In the Heat of the Night and Christopher Nolans first feature called "Following" very stoked on all of them

This might've come up before, I've got that biscuit on VHS.  His Jimi Hendrix superharp will blow your ass in four.

I saw this last week, and was pretty meh about it.  Some funny parts, some good characters, some good performances.  But fuck, it was way more tedious than it needed to be.  I found it retreaded a lot of the same territory as Adaptation.  Seemed like he was just flailing around trying to get something to stick to the wall.  Adaptation seemed to center around Kaufman's difficulty coming up with a script and Synechdoche was mostly about struggling to direct.  It's about as dull as reading about somebody's writer's block.  I mean, what did you guys think he was trying to say?  Did I miss something or was this just a belabored tale of the futility of man's existence or something equally as whiny?

i'm a great admirer of anything Troma, but for some reason, i can't seem to like anything released after Tromeo & Juliet (i.e. Terror Firmer, Toxic Avenger 4, etc.).

It's probably because that one dude left to make scooby doo movies.

They played TA 3 on G4 TV the other day.  I'd never seen troma on TV before.

ahahah . . . yeah, probably. After James Gunn left the company, things definitely changed. Their recent stuff is waaaay too self-referential for my liking. It gets pretty tedious.
