This movie is rad, rewatched it the other day, it has a pretty stacked cast, Paul Newman, Tom Hanks, Jude Law, Daniel Craig, music was really dope too

Has anyone seen this movie? Its a fucking trip, I really liked it though

True Romance. 100 times better than what it sounds like.

I torrented Gomorrah thanks to the upcoming movies thread. I don't really know how I feel about it, but there were good aspects of it.

both are amazing, The Assassination of Jesse James was probably my favourite movie of 2007, even over No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood, the music is fucking amazing, fits it so well, I always encourage people who haven't seen it to watch it, these two movies though are really different, people always complain about how "slow" Jesse James is, its very frustrating, people go into it expecting a "3:10 to Yuma" and I guess become bored with the lack of action

I'm watching Blade Runner for the first time tomorrow, don't know why I've slept on it for so long I've been meaning to see it, I already know I would have posted it in here from what I've heard

I watched last night and really liked it.  Some of those scenes are so fucking harsh!

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Yeah it was a lot of exposition in the beginning where I was kinda wondering what was going to happen, and got confused by who was who, but all the scenes toward the end were really powerful. Probably a movie I'm going to have to rewatch, it's very unflinching.

I saw Edward Scissorhands for the first time today I thought it was good. The crazy sets they think up for Tim Burton movies are crazy, like the houses and cars in that movie scared the hello out of me. Like everyone was... idk like fucked up, but I geuss that's just the way people are.

She always has the best soundtracks ever, in addition to being on point everywhere else too.

The directors cut

I just got McCabe and Mrs. Miller, my film professor raves on and on about it talking about the film exposure and what the DOP did to get these "muddy" looking colours, going to watch it now

^^^for some reason, i've never been able to finish this one. I always pause it and tell myself to finish it later...but i never do. I could say the same for almost everything by Godard.

i bought this for 3 bucks the other day:

it should keep me busy for a good while.
