awesome movie.  you should also watch "Once Upon a Time in the West" (which was actually written by dario argento) and "Fist Full of Dynamite".  They kind of form an unofficial trilogy that follows Leone's earlier "man with no name" trilogy.

TCM had a Traffaut mini-marathon on the other night, and I caught an awesome movie called "The Bride Wore Black"

and i just rewatched one of my all time favorites, "The 10th Victim" with Marcello Mastroianni and Elsa Martinelli

not sure if it's already been mentioned, don't feel like reading every page in this thread, but "Traffic" is a great movie.

^ I own Once Upon a Time in the West, fucking amazing, love the music and slow pace, hope this has a similar feel to it especially with Leone directing it

I'm going to check out Fist full of Dynamite, thanks for the recommendation

Saw Terminator: Salvation last night.
Pretty nonstop action movie

definitely liked this

Saw  Land of the Lost, it was good yet predictable. Gonna go see the Hangover, which i heard was good!

saw it friday and had a good laugh. one of the few blockbuster comedy's that didn't have the whole wrap up after the 1/2 way point were the movie stops being funny and starts being a lame boy meets girl flick.

Checked out Francis Ford copopa's new movie Tetro on friday, only opened in few cities so far, independent budget, no ads etc. I thought it was amazing, few scenes were kinda whateves but for the most part great story, great shots/filming, black and white,  and Vincent Gallo kills it.
My girl had never seen Brown Bunny, so we rented that the next night and first time i watched it(2year or so ago) was super bored and think Frwd to the Chloe Servigney blowjob scene, but this second time watching it. I apperciated it alot more, super slow movie, but meant to be that painfully awkard indie type shit. Was pretty good second time around, if your a fan of buffalo 66, worth renting for sure. Read few things online today, and guess he hired fired wionna ryder and kristen dunst for the roll in brown bunny, wonder if they would have deep throated him for the sake of art?

i'm glad to see that someone else on the SLAP boards has an affinity for work of Mr. Gallo.

Brown Bunny is fucking amazing and the majority of people that dislike it hate it because they built it up in their heads to be the worst movie ever (thanks to the many, but not at all unanimous, lukewarm reviews it received upon it's initial release) without actually having SEEN it yet. The less you know about the film or the director's reputation beforehand, the higher the possibility you'll have of enjoying it. Gallo sure does push a lot of buttons.

I gotta see Tetro soon. The trailer for it reminded me a lot of RUMBLE FISH - another great gem from Coppola.

speaking of which:

if you haven't seen it yet, see it NOW. It contains probably one of the best scores ever composed for a motion picture. Not to mention the cinematography is drop dead gorgeous.

Sometimes this is the only thing I look for in a movie, sounds strange but they are such important elements that get overlooked, its always "whose in it" or "whats it about"

pretty gross altogether but I enjoyed it, although I was one of those people who went: "hey wheres the fucking plot?" when the credits rolled.

edit: sorry I meant the Moon movie.

On another note: Anyone have a torrent for this yet? can't find it, but I also suck at searching.

this was one of the most entertaining documentaries and movies in general i've ever seen- anybody else seen it? group of senior citizens in a choir group but the director has them doing songs by sonic youth, the clash, coldplay, etc. hilarious.

This is probabely the funniest fucking movie ever. It's about a white guy that lives in the ghetto with 4 black brothers and he has to go out and get milk. Malibu's Most Wanted was gay and corny but this is just straight up hilarious...
