The Hangover and Transformers two were the last two movies I saw. The Hangover was probably one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. And personally I think Transformers one was a little better, I dunno.

This movie was fucking amazing, Ive seen it before but I'm watching a documentary called "Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures" and it reminded me how amazing it was.

This documentary on Kubrick is so rad, just look whose in it

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0278736/
definitely is. kubrick is my #1 inspiration.

also, everyone should see cube. it's not amazing, yet it is. you'll see!
i'd post the trailer but it gives way too much away.

Ive been wanting to watch this movie for like the past 3 years but never get the opportunity to see it

That's the way I've always been with Gangs of New York. Maybe I'll finally just rent it tonight since everyone's working.

watch it for daniel day then, so many things i didnt catch the first time i watched it

watching movies by yourself is always better too, no distractions of some idiot yelling "YEAHHH FUCKING STAB HIM!"

edit: wait i read your post wrong, I thought you were saying how it was the least of your favourite scorcese films

I rented Mean Streets and Gangs of New York, and bought the first Harold and Kumar, there is no way I'm having a shitty night tonight. Am I missing any of the essential Scorcese flicks after these? I already own Taxi Driver and Raging Bull.

Casino, Goodfellas and the Departed, youve probably seen all of these though

If not, time to hit the video store again, Casino and Goodfellas are arguably his best, so many good ones though

Has one of the most minimal main story-lines ever (the subplots are more in-depth), but it was still pretty good.

shit i really want to see this, I've seen some shots from it and I swear they must have been shooting at 2000 frames or more per second to get some of the slo mo sequences of explosions and running that they did

looks pretty sick

i hadn't been to the movies in years until this week and i went twice in 3 days. i'm hooked on the cinema just like with everything else...

but i caught Transformers 2, which turned out to be a sick ass fucking action flick. No story line, but it was still nasty.

Tonight i saw public enemies, that john dillinger flick, holy shit. The fire coming out of the tommy guns during certain scenes was outta control. It's definitely a good movie with a good (romanticized hollywood style)story, great cinematography, and solid acting. Check it!!!

This movie was pretty damn depressing. They went over board with some of the camera work, over and underexposing to the point of annoyance but it was a stylized film that was well done

The best film I've seen this year.
