I rented Mean Streets and Gangs of New York, and bought the first Harold and Kumar, there is no way I'm having a shitty night tonight. Am I missing any of the essential Scorcese flicks after these? I already own Taxi Driver and Raging Bull.

Casino, Goodfellas and the Departed, youve probably seen all of these though

If not, time to hit the video store again, Casino and Goodfellas are arguably his best, so many good ones though

Has one of the most minimal main story-lines ever (the subplots are more in-depth), but it was still pretty good.

shit i really want to see this, I've seen some shots from it and I swear they must have been shooting at 2000 frames or more per second to get some of the slo mo sequences of explosions and running that they did

looks pretty sick

i hadn't been to the movies in years until this week and i went twice in 3 days. i'm hooked on the cinema just like with everything else...

but i caught Transformers 2, which turned out to be a sick ass fucking action flick. No story line, but it was still nasty.

Tonight i saw public enemies, that john dillinger flick, holy shit. The fire coming out of the tommy guns during certain scenes was outta control. It's definitely a good movie with a good (romanticized hollywood style)story, great cinematography, and solid acting. Check it!!!

This movie was pretty damn depressing. They went over board with some of the camera work, over and underexposing to the point of annoyance but it was a stylized film that was well done

The best film I've seen this year.
'No Mouth, you have a negative rep because you are a fan of growing your wealth off of the backs of low paid workers and brag about having bodyguards. You literally kook people for doing charity in South East Asia. Don't deny it.'

Kung Fu Hustle. Kinda falters toward the end, but the beginning is pure silly Chinese goodness.

i just caught a showing of this on television:

it was edited to shit. Obviously, many things were omitted to better comply with cable television time constraints, but C'MON! This film is a cult classic, it doesn't deserve treatment like that.

in other news, i bought this on VHS for 50 cents:

.....i gotta say, i'm more of a "Thrashin'" guy myself. At least that one had a sex scene.
