^ I love those types of movies.

Watching Big Trouble in Little China, Kurt Russell plays Jack Burton, so fucking sick.

That movie helped me lose my virginity. Of course while we were fucking, I was really dreaming about Lo Pan.

if you liked alien, then i'd say yes but if you didn't like alien then your not capable of liking even well made sci fi so i'd skip it

was hoping to see IB next week but we may be taking my mother in law to see that one where they are on an island instead

then you should be good, district 9 is definitely more alien (realistic plot that only requires suspension of disbelief only for existence of aliens, matrue dialog, stronger charater development, good special effects that aren't the main focus and not distracting from story, ect...) than armageddon\independence day (plot requires suspension of disbelief, terrible dialog that relies on one liners, paper thin charaters, film selling point is special effects and big name actors, ect...). they could be different genres really.

HAHAHAAHAHAHAH I could never take that movie seriously just because it was Josh from the Nickolodean show Drake & Josh. He even has a sex scene. Hilarious.

i bought a brand new copy of this on eBay for 98 cents a couple of weeks ago. Harmony Korine is a wonderful human being.

Hell yeah. His interviews on Letterman are legendary in my book for how awkward (in an awesome way) he is. Dude is like Peter Pan in the flesh

After Dark (I finally saw it last night for my first time): I thought it was really good movie in regards to the characters, effects, and BILL MOTHERFUCKING PAXTON HOLY FUCK, but some of the writing and the ending were pretty weak. Bill Paxton more than makes up for any of that though. I never knew the flying politician from Heroes was in it, Lance Henricksen is always sick, and the mom from Terminator 2 that killed the stepdad while he was drinking milk played a great character... she was hard as fuck in this.

So sick.

Can someone do me a favour and give me a quick shout on something to download tonight? Stuck in my annual 'get super sick right before school starts' extravaganza.

This is a cult classic. I've seen it many times. You're right.....Bill Paxton absolutely slays in this...especially during the bar scene. Fuckin' badass. I always liked Jeanette Goldstien also. She just looks evil. Good call Grim. I was going to add the bar scene here but all the clips had embedding disabled. No dice.

frisco I suggest just downloading it, buy it later (personally I never buy movies, I'd rather buy beer). it may be a little hard to understand, but in my opinion, I don't think arthouse type movies should be interpreted in just one set way. it's all up to the viewer, and what the movie means to you and how it makes you feel.

I've been watching A LOT of movies lately, and decided to take a trip down memory lane and watch some old slasher movies. as a kid through my teenage years I would always go to blockbuster and rent obscure horror movies. today, hungover as shit, I decided to watch

I saw this one when I was about 11 and remember just being blown away by the ending. probably my favorite slasher movie ever. I was eating bacon flavored chips when I was watching it, and the ending made me so sick to my stomach.

another one of my favorites. being an adult now, I think it's cool how the only beer they drink in the movie is moosehead and alexander keith's
