Tricks Over Picnic Tables on Flat
« on: June 02, 2008, 05:37:28 PM »
If you skated them you know they are one of the hardest things to do tricks over.

So many difficult tricks went downs over them over the years. Keenan's SW Flip being #1. Also was shocked by Brian Hoard's nollie inward heelflip. What's your favorite?

the first one to come to mind is probably Rodrigo TX's line in Menikmati where he switch flips over one and then switch bs 180s over another one.

Brian Hoard did switch front heel too I think. His shit was the best.
Am I crazy or do I remember AVE doing a mad powerful nollie flip over one?
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

Does anyone else remember AVE doing a bs bigflip over a table, or is that just me?
edit: nope, just watched his part again, he did it off a bump... he did a good frontside nollie over a table in a line, though.

sheffeys fakie ollie and half cab come to mind, and hensleys tricks, you know the ones

jeremy wray also... in xyz, he does a tre flip and a fakie heelflip straight over a table...yes it is one of those little tykes orange tables, but still, a fakie heelflip straight over something is good no matter what its over
he also threw a heelflip over a normal sized (la of course) table in a line, and did a cab BOTH ways in revolution. how you do a cab blindside over anything with no pivoting on flat is completely foreign to me.

can this just be the tricks on/over tables on flat? i want to mention armandos cool ass tricks on tables, and kareems tre flip smith/5-0

Yeah that was the first one I thought of too, pretty sick how he just coasted to the second table.

The standard little kids one's are in LA County (Lockwood) and are smaller than your average table, but I guess you have to skate one to appreciate how hard they are to do shit over. I forgot to mention Reese Forbes backside flip and Mike Daher KF. Also Chris Franzen's Sw front shuv is raw.

In '89 or '90 Hensley had a Trick Tip of a "fakie one-footed 360 ollie" over one but I think it was really just a cab.

Good topic though.

Brian Hoard did nollie flip and nollie inward (see Deca "Sneak Preview"). Anyone do a fakie flip over one?

He had a bump on the nollie flip. Herman's switch front heel and marnell's switch backside flip.

i'm pretty sure most tricks over picnic tables are done over the little kids ones.

only adult sized one that comes to mind is the one everyone skates out of that massive bump, that carrol nollie heel'd and bonked off of
I rarely venture into classic slap and the one time I do it I find a guy getting his dick eaten by a dolphin.

Did Don Nguyen fakie fs heel over one, or was it over a couch?  either way it was really sick, that trick is hard to pop and not done very often.
