cool shots man ..

1. how do you push to 1600 with a t2 or any automatic camera for that matter?

2. what did you do to do to make your borders like that?

thanks!

1. the t2 has an exposure compensation dial, which allows me to go either 2 steps up or down. with other automatic cameras, you'd have to manipulate the dx-code on the film
like this :
https://www.lomography.com/magazine/250641-turn-your-iso-400-film-into-an-all-day-film-on-your-dx-code-auto-detected-camera

2. I bought some slides and cut them that way, put my negatives in them and then scanned it.

Some good stuff in here. Matze, the travel's look like a good time. I like some of those forest shots towards the end. Are you shooting 6x7? Looks like you have a fairly wide lens. And hassy-fish also?

Thanks for the kindness guys!

sometimeforsure, yeah, I have both. The 6x7 are shot with a Mamiya 7ii and 43mm and 80mm lenses. Good lenses, but not as good as the Zeiss 6x6 optics in my opinion.

I took a photo of my switch to go with this old photo of my controller for my website so that way the controller photo looks less random. pretty much copied a nintendo ad i saw but i wanted to see if i could replicate it from scratch. nothing creative, but just tryin to get the tabletop portfolio filled with some variety.

Rad stuff Matze and that controller shot looks super cool feedmeseymour!

Went on my first snow backpacking trip of the year and shot this panorama. It was cold as hell at night, but glad I made it up here.

I'm looking to print some shots I took, can anyone point me in the direction of some good printing services?  I've always just distributed them digitally

I use Bay Photo. I've always been happy with their quality and customer service. If there's ever an issue, you just send them a picture of the damage or problem and they send a new one free of charge. They have tons of options as well and can get paper prints real cheap.

Ive been getting big prints from these guys for work, they have good sales sometimes, 18x24 prints for ten bucks and if you size it right it looks really good

That’s a rad gift right there!
Thinkin’ about getting a medium format camera, something cheap(ish) to mess around with but not a toy like a holga.
Any suggestions?

Allen.

About to post some shit I've shot while out skating the past few years, sorry if the images are too big or the quality isn't great. Some of these I edited when I really didn't know what I was doing.

Yeah, got lucky for sure.

Plenty of options out there. First I'd ask what format you'd think you'd like the most. 6x6, 6x4.5, 6x7, 6x7. Bronica is a great brand, and often overlooked. You can likely find a Bronica SQA setup for $300ish. Mamiya 645 is pretty solid as well if you want a non-square orientation. Mamiya TLR's can be pretty affordable as well. Either way, you can find a good amount of options between $300-500.

that's what I would recommend (found a bronica c for 180 Euros with a 75mm lens on german ebay now). There are also TLRs like mamiya c330 or a yashica mat 124.

other then that: look for the Hasselblad. it's damn good.

Thanks for the tips guys!
6x4.5 or 6x7 would be preffered options,
but the Bronicas sound good too.

@straight: I prefer the 80mm cause of the 2.8 aperture, size/weight and the universal use. Good for portraits and skateboarding, okay for landscapes. It’s a 50mm when you compare it to 35mm cameras.

@whale: there is also the bronica gs-1, which syncs your flash at all speeds (hello skate photography)

@Whale - Been using a fujiga645 for a while. Love it basically a point and shoot medium format camera. Light and compact
