^^cool concept, great pictures! following for sure. wanna do a tumblr project together, that a couple of pals from all over the world would join? we could do something dope.

it's one of these days that makes me want to hate my photography so bad ...I liked only 10 shots out of 7 rolls, which is just a small percentage .. so many out of (auto) focus pictures ... wrong choice of film (ektar +portraits + sun = shit) ... let's just forget about this, haha.

An architecture based group project would be sick.

skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

awesome.  the peacock shot is my favorite.

here are a few prints from a darkroom session last night.  definitely need to spend some more time with the second negative...

did you split filter for these?
im liking those three shots, they seem a little bright, maybe its just the scanner?
no filters, just #2 graded paper.  i really need to pick up some filters and some multigrade though.  you're right about the scanning, the prints aren't as bright/contrasty to actually look at.

Thank you very much, yesterday was my last day. Kind of bummed, but also very reliefed, I don't enjoy shooting digital that much, but it was the only possible way to make this happen right now. I'll inform all of you, when the "book" will be avaible.

And Yes, I'm definitely in. Write me matze an email, and we can figure something out.

Street photography is so much more fun with manual glass, but a bummer when you get home and some shots are out of focus

this is the email conversation we did about this tumblr idea. what do you think guys? maybe we pick about 5-10 themes first, everybody shots as many themes as possible and then we start posting it on tumblr. it would be rad if 20 persons would join, so we can have material for 4-6 months before we start. who's down? who got ideas for themes?

matthias winkel wrote:

"hey man!

I have this idea where we can make a theme based slap tumblr. every participant has to do 3 (5, 7, 10 ... whatever) pictures of the same object/person from the town he's living at or has visited. for example we could do the architecture month in april, maybe even something like "high buildings". on the first day one person makes a post with 3 pics called "highest buildings in ... vancouver". next days another person does the same with berlin, then with helsinki, then with a little town in france that nobody knows etc. after that month we can make another topic, maybe something skate related like "3 skatespots from ... vancouver/berlin/helsinki etc.) or "3 hipsters in ..." I guess this could be a sick idea. if we can get at least 10 slap pals to join there is enough material to make a post every 3 days ... what do you think? we can even have some non slap pals in there, that can contribute.

cheers, matze"

"Hello,
Sounds good to me! For start month April would be perfect. I have some school work this week, but I will get back to you asap, when I'm done with them! This has some real potential to become something truly interesting!

Cheers, Eeli"

I'd certainly be down as well, but I'd possibly have to hold off until summer when I'm on break from school. Definitely a really awesome idea!

i'm up for it.  would it just consist of one tumblr blog and then all the participants have the login info?  or would someone moderate/curate the whole shebang?

pardon me, i have no idea how tumblr works really.

I could cover the small french town/Paris. I leave in two months though. We should get a few subjects announced so people have time to work on a few and save up.
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

i could cover the highest buildings in my area. maybe that new very high building in my area will be done soon, they tried to go for 3 stories this time! the residents are sceptical, "thou shalt not built that close to god" they say.
