My grandma gave me an old pentex ME. I've never shot with film before. Do you guys have any tips for a beginner?

i believe the ME has an internal light meter which is pretty accurate

Here's from my first day testing out my Canon 50mm F/1.8

It's an amazing lens for only $100. Awesome depth of field


I have a Minolta 50mm f/1.5 lens and it would be all I'd ever use, but the composing can get a bit difficult in cramped spaces. But really good pictures of peoples faces with a beatiful bokeh is often enough...
take what small comfort there may be left

I'd like to hear your thoughts on Panasonic DMC-LX5. I currently own a Canon A590 which is a nice little camera, but it lacks low light performance and I don t fell like I would upgrade to DSLR.
