Stoked on the last one, owned my d600 for a year now and the high iso quality still blows my mind, iso 6400 with natural lighting.

What are you medium format guys using? Torn between a hasselblad 500c and an 80mm 2.8 or going the mamiya m645 with an 80mm 1.9 route and having a bunch of affordable lenses to play with. Taking a pretty challenging photo II class next semester with a really well known really good teacher and I want to shoot medium format for it, and I'll also probably end up shooting a bunch of color film too.

And for good measure, here's the double set that Mike Carroll 360-flipped in Modus. It's about 5 minutes from my house.

So much good stuff! Tumulishoomaroom, what film was that? Ektar? Looks so cinematic.

Thanks ! All those are Portra 160. I had bought a pack for my stay New York thinking I would shoot mostly portraits but ended up not shooting that many. I really like it though, it's a different feel than Ektar.

Nice pic too !

Those are so good! Do you do any post processing to them? I really like the muted tones.

I usually try to process the least possible but I always have to because what comes out straight of the scanner isn't really what's on the negative -except if you happen to have a drum scanner.

For these particularly I don't recall anything special apart from a few contrasts adjustments. Portra 160 gives this muted tone thing quite naturally I think.

I've been taking a lot of photos over the last couple months, but 99% of them are aesthetically unpleasing. Here's the ones I feel are decent.  :-X

Really been inspired from the moment I've stumbled upon this thread. Not anywhere as good as any of you guys but I've slowly been picking it up. Here's some random stuff I've gotten over the past week.
