the upper part of the ledge with the pebbles (although, AFAIK this style can been seen all over Slovenia too and it makes for super shitty ledges)

I haven't been posting much here, but I've been shooting more photos than I ever have before. We just learned how to develop in my photo class and next week we're learning printing, so I'm super excited for that!

These are from two or so months ago, shot on a mix of expired Superia 800 film and portra 400. There's been so much good stuff on these last couple of pages that I'm hesitant on posting haha

Really awesome stuff. I'm curious, do you sit down and talk with them first and hear their story, or did you just ask for a pic? I've thought about doing something like this, but am more of an introvert and get hesitant to find the best approach to this. I'd love to hear your process.

This should be a long term project so yes I talk to them a lot first. Most of them a very reluctant to get their picture taken. I've been going there for three weeks now, but it's quite a long process to gain their confidence.

Its a Nikonos V, an old film zone focus camera that I use a lot. Really recommend them, I love mine. I love the look and quality of the ektar. I am really wanting to get a water housing for my digital camera to shoot more serious surfing though.

Got to meet street photographer Martha Cooper tonight. Such a nice lady. She had a show featuring her series comparing a Baltimore neighborhood called Sowebo with a Johannesburg neighborhood called Soweto. I snagged a print and zine for real cheap and shot a quick portrait of her.

Her most famous work her documentation of New York's graffiti in the 70s and 80s, but she's got an impressive amount of work, which you might have to search around for since she doesn't really have a website. You can see her stuff in that Everybody Street docu.

A couple of film shots. Fuji Sensia (100?). I'm a bit of a Fuji man, especially after shooting with their slide film.

I know I've posted photos of the actual zine I made, but I wanted to post some of the photo that are featured in it.
Since I only did an edition of 10, I'm going to do a second edition and probably have it printed sometime next week. If anyone wants one, let me know and I'll drop one in the mail for ya.

They're from Baltimore, US and they're touring Europe right now.
If you get the chance, go check them out. It's a show of another world..

JB, I'll totally take a copy of your zine when you print more.

These are from my first time shooting medium format stuff.

part of this roll got exposed to light, but I kind of like how they look like old timey photos.
