just some helpful suggestions, your photos are cool and have a good look to them. the load time on the pages isnt great, and the photos are laid out differently gallery to gallery. on your about me section the instagram link sends you to flickr. and from the view of a potential employer, other than fine art, what could your photos do for a company? i only say that because if you werent trying to get the attention of a potential employer then why have a website? but for real i really do like your photos man, curious to see what youve shot in the last couple years!
dude thank you, I'll fix that broken link. I hella appreciate this feedback. The photographs are laid out differently according to series because in my head, presentation/content are linked pretty strongly. In the "date stamped" set, the vibe of the photographs is more of like looking through memories, where they're all sort of collaged together in this non-linear,almost mesy way. The "Drifting" series reflects a much more intentional mindset in which i want the viewer to look at each photo on their own without any distractions. the photos in that series are all linked and the sequence matters but i still want the viewer to only be focusing on each photo at a time.
I'm also not really trying to sell my photographs to a company/have a website for that purpose. i wanted a website mostly for opportunities to collaborate with other like-minded people. I put that stuff about what i do for "work" work because the whole rest of my site is focused on my creative work. I kinda just want to attract other creatives/groups/whatever who have similar interests as me, (in education, community organizing, etc). In terms of getting work through my website i was wondering if i should put a byline or something in my about me, like "available for commissioned work, assignments, etc"
I really appreciate your feedback dude, i'm curious as to what your thoughts are on what i said, i'm always thinking about this kind of thing
