so i've been hearing about this ditch spot about 20 minutes from my house from someone who skates a few times a year.  the dude is always kind of shady so i didn't believe him at all.  then the dude who is opening the local shop moved back to this area after 10 years or so and said that he used to skate it back in the day.  so this weekend we are hitting it up.  building ledges and shit too if it's good enough.

Hey Dude, I used to get them a lot from running - one thing that helps is to do about 150 heel walks, where you basically just take little steps walking around on your heels, holding your toes up on the air - like the reverse of walking on your tip toes - it helps to strengthen those muscles on your shins...
