That's sick. I'd love the confidence to be able to try stand-up.

Got one girl's number today, hanging out with (and hopefully laying down the pipe on) another tomorrow, and heading to the aquarium with a third one on Friday. Also Thursday and Friday are gonna be hella nice out so you already know I'm popping out to skate with the homies.

I saw your mom do a ollie to cooch drop straight down the big black pole, it was gnarly. she defiantly shut that shit down

got to skate a lot more (and almost every day) last week thanks to organizing my schedule a bit better around my work hours, which just so happened to coincide with times of dry weather (a real scarcity here right now, it's been seriously raining almost non-stop for two months to the point where rivers are overflowing). topped it off on sunday with a 9-hour session which left me fucking wrecked, which is the best feeling there is to me. now about to retire this three-months-old deck I've been skating and set up a freshie. super stoked on skating in general

I haven't smoked pot since like Christmas, and one of my friends just stopped by and gave me a bag of some really good stuff for free, for my birthday. Super drunk and high right now.

I turn 28 at midnight. Stoked/Not Stoked.

Happy Birthday dude!

Thanks! I have a pretty good Bday and weekend lined up.

Two of my nieces and my Sis-in-law have their birthdays within 2 days of mine, so tomorrow we're doing a big dinner at a good Italian place, Friday I'm seeing Porco Russo at a theatre with friends, and Saturday I'm taking my nieces snow-tubing.

Sunday I'm smoking and drinking and watching Beetlejuice.

Just been informed I'm going to be the Executive Creative Director of a large digital agency, overseeing the work of over 40 digital and integrated creatives. More nervous than stoked, to be honest.

Wow, congratulations.

I'm stoked I got Slayer tickets and bought an Andy Jenkins Girl I was trying to find for years.

I feel grounded. Been on a sober streak and felt comfortable on the board for the first time in a long time. Trying not to let shit get to me.  Having surgery in a few months to repair my deviated septum. It's like I basically have 1 functioning airway in my nose, and I've sounded like butthead since puberty because of it. Doc said it should fix my breathing issues, snoring, cardio, etc. Have a test for a job at the state tomorrow, and a couple of interviews coming up too. Just stoked on how things are right now.

Also got a water flosser, it's tight, stoked on it.

The cold weather. Summer is average like 115-120 where I live. Much easier to skate freezing than melting.

Went to antique mall this morning with an old friend I hadn't seen in a couple of years. It was nice to catch up. Plus I scored a copy of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly soundtrack on vinyl for a few dollars.

drinking "irish" coffee while vaping weed and watching Black Books and playing Chrono Trigger  ;D also found a place in my life for non-alcoholic beer, it can actually be damn refreshing with a post skate protein power-up lunch or dinner

Found a old ass xanax on the floor, got the best shatter I ever smoked, did a clay mask for first time and my skin feels verry nice. And they building a big apt complex a mile away, gonna start pouring foundation soon for me to skate on.

Have fun, man. A long time ago someone was building three condo buildings but for whatever reason they stopped after they got the first one up. Anyway, the other two foundations made for some really fun manny pads and gaps. It was one of my favorite spots for years until they finally finished the construction. I miss the hell out of that place.

Congrats Steve!

To add on, helped my friend from work move in to his new place. I was hyped for the guy and got to hang out with the guy. At one point I just took a moment to take everything in and realized this is something I want in life. Not envious but really hyped. I've been with this mentality that I want to stay single as long as I can and also freaked out about having to stay in school longer but this put all that at ease. Really hyped up on life...and drunk.

Life in general. Since I quit drinking a few months back shit is just falling into place so good.

New career, great results in my injury rehab after 14 months of torture, new house, new truck, finally got out ice fishing a few times, weight training everyday and just having lots fun with my wife and kids.

Found my passion for cooking again, so I'm doing that too. Also doing some side work for a few companies in Colorado.

My knee is progressing so fast now I'm hoping I'll be back on the board this spring, then it's all gravy baby!!!!

*Quit smoking too! Really stoked on that one!

Yeah all that's sick, congrats. Makes me want to give up drinking for a few months and see what happens.

I never realized Greg Hunt and Jon Holland did a commentary track for Sight Unseen. Good excuse to rewatch it.
