Finally got to skate after a long time off due to an ankle injury and picking up work while visiting family in Massachusetts. Lots of old friends showed up at the park due to the weather being super nice (38 degrees and no wind) and I got some old tricks back after not really trying to push myself for about a year. Pretty fucking stoked and I'm looking forward to doing again tomorrow.

I always kind of hate talking about whatever charitable donations I give, but I donated to Sammy Baptista's Gofundme and also Dan Jansen's (the SF Black Rock security guard). I know they say guilt is the other side of compassion, and there's the whole argument of charity for the sake of self-glorification, but it's for the sake of raising awareness I just wanted to mention it. Also gave money to my dad, as I've been doing for years - that one's more painful to discuss.
