4loco came back to my town

I buy the Lokos for my little brother and his posse on a weekly basis. Last night I decided to conduct some field research. Drank two, felt semi-buzzed, passed out, woke up with the third worst hangover of my life. Kids these days...

returned to MA from a week with the lady traveling from Frisco to Humboldt- the return isn't something to be stoked on but missing the epic shitty weather that hit Crescent City to SF is a good thing. Riding a bus down 101 while a Tsunami rages not far over would've been kind of wild though.

California, again just SF thru Humboldt, is the most interesting place that i've yet to experience. Such a wide spread transient community, there are the straight hippy/gutter punks, but also activists working in the Redwoods to prevent the slaughter of trees that were chilling, you know, before Columbus or even the Vikings came thru.

It was sick to see people act on their intentions thru non-violent protest (which could be bike locking your neck to a pole in the CalTrans office...) to protect a way of life- road widening will destroy the trees, but it will also allow trucks with cargo containers to travel 101, which would inevitably allow WalMart, strip malls, and every other McCorp that has yet to change the pace of living up there.

And, it's a wicked nice day to be back in MA, about 50 degrees! perfect for a ride on the bike since i still can't skate, head to bank to cash some retroactive checks that were in the mail when i got home, and get try to get some ink!

oh yeah, last night my lady got robbed $158 from the bar she serves at- she quit her shitty job and i think this has pushed her enough to agree that it's time to move west

They have british specialty stores here in canada, don't they have american ones in the uk?also british candy is terrible for the most part.

Saw a mid 30's asian lady skating across the street, looking like she was gonna eat shit at any moment but didn't. Was awesome

noo wayy! it's usually a lot sweeter. like the first time i had a hersheys bar it tasted like shit compared to the stuff we have over here.
skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

Also, even the Hersheys they sell in EU is different that in the states, its also nicer.

YO is that good? I'm debating if I should give it a try

Sounds intense

It's actually surprisingly good. It's got legit spice which is almost impossible to find at a fast food place. It's big too.

I am officially dating one of the coolest girls I've ever met, and it feels crazy as fuck. It stresses me out a little bit, but she's really into me and seems patient enough to handle the bullshit I will inevitably subject her to. She comes from some money, and her dad is having an estate sale in a couple weeks that I can hopefully come out of with some good vinyl.

I've been skating really well lately, and I FINALLY learned backside smiths. I decided a long time ago that it was a trick I would just never be able to do, a la nollie 360 flips or nollie inward heels. But I just figured out how to power through them and got them going about 6 feet. So, so stoked on that.

Smiths are no fucking joke. I can get into them easily, but actually grinding it through is tough. Props on that, learning a new trick is one of the best feelings ever.

Listened through Youth Novels for the first time today and really enjoyed it. She definitely makes you want to fall in love with someone mysterious.

And thanks for the kudos on the smith grinds, dudes.

Dudes fuel tanker caught fire at a gas station. While all were running for their lives he jumped in the drivers seat, moving the fuel tanker away from the station in hopes of saving everybody's life. AND HE DID!
