what up SLAP! now that i'm not working for the summer, getting on the comp is a rare event! hahah ,first order of stokage is having the summer off. The 2nd is getting my last fat pay check for the year. I'm debating going to central america or back to California for the month of August, either way, I've got the flow to go somewhere.

I took my first 2 exams to become a licensed high school teacher in the state of massachusetts, which is pretty cool and I think I've got at least another long term sub job lined up for the fall. Regular subbing pays shit but LTS pays, legit, $33/hr. Who knows what's gonna happen???

Met a great girl on the bus ride home from a shitty trip to Philly. Scored the digits and she's been sending me messages saying things like "I hope your Friday is great!" so that's pretty cool too.

Today, after a night of breaking my rules (drank henny from a water bottle and smoked backwoods) and blacking out, I woke up in my car, missing my glasses, and needing to puke. I rode my bike through some serious heat, started sweating hard, and went a beautiful stoned out of my mind kayak ride. I love summer time.

Oh yeah, started skating with an old homie again who had fallen off due to drugs for a decade. landed some half cab manuals for the first time.

Just came home from 10 days in NY, super stoked on my trip there. One of the best ever. I even met up with Slap Pal ttching! for a quick night session. Wished I had more time there and more time to skate.

Skating through the streets

And ttching! with a 5-0 on the bank. That spot is so much harder to skate than I had ever imagined.

Just stoked all the way through!! And going to CPH Pro thursdays to shoot photos and meet up with old friends.

ttching!

I couldn't imagine it being warmer than the first couple of days haha. You must really love your AC about now! :-) And again, thanks for taking the time to hook up with me and show me around, I really loved every minute of skating i got. Getting that night session in there really made the trip perfect!

This planned skatepark in the town I went to college, which I've been posting about for years, just got approved for a bigger budget than initially estimated, and will start construction this summer.

Don't get too excited. Follow the link to the construction company and cross your fingers that they don't fuck it up.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I almost sacked trying to do a lipslide down a handrail today but I landed just far enough to avoid hitting the rail. Like forreal that shit could've been sooooooooo bad I was directly above the rail falling down but I landed flat on my feet at the very end of it. I truly feel blessed to have not smashed my testicles today.

I would touch Summer Glau in many places. The shoulder is probably not one of them though.

風立ちぬ comes out on the 20th
http://kazetachinu.jp/

i really like ghibli films and this one seems like it isn't going to be a let down unlike some of the studios last few films (mononokehime was the last great ghibli film and sen to chihiro no kamikakushi was the last fairly decent ghibli film)

plus the theme song is a yumin song
ひこうき雲 荒井由実

p.s. sorry for nerding out

After dozens of attempts I've finally mastered this technique for removing the shell of hard-boiled eggs without peeling.

Tim Ferriss - How to Peel Hard-boiled Eggs without Peeling

I've also gotten pretty good at cleanly peeling oranges in about three steps--nick the top, split it in half, and bend the skins off.

HAHA holy fuck, was I wrong (and right in that PM to you Universal). Google Translate might as well be broken, what with the sentence structuring differences and lack of equivalent meanings to certain words, that thing looks like some great writing inter-spliced with the craziest Dada poetry I've ever read after putting it through.
but maybe I'm just doing it wrong. Anyways, you can tell your buddy that the little bit I could decipher seems pretty well thought out and interesting.
