I've been a Cubs fan since 86...Mark Prior is back...lets go ahead and give up 8 dingers to the Tigers..

i really don't want to get into this since i actually do root for the cubs. but there are some cubs fans that are the fucking worst. like vince vaughn. he goes on sports center and they asked him what the cubs could do better and he goes "nothing, they're a family team. cubs will find a way. you'll see." what the fuck is that? the cubs never have any incentive to build a decent team because rich ass white executives will take their boring families to the games sit for a couple innings and go home feeling working class.

not that newer sox fans are any better. i can't even believe the number of jerseys you see dbags wearing now that they're world champs. i just like the sox approach better.

I guess its a matter of patience...I know when the Cubs do win the series it will be in dramatic fashion...I will have the opposite of a massive heart attack...people that land every trick with perfection bore me...so do sports dynastys.

Yeah, some cubs fans are douchebags, thats for sure, and they sure don't have any incentive to build the team. You know that the only two baseball teams with a bigger fanbase are the redsox and the Yankees? The cubs don't have to win to sell tickets.
But a game at wrigley is always sick as fuck, and some day, when they do win, I'll be able to say I was with them all along.
The sox have a cool squad right now, I like Pierzinskis down and dirty style of play, even though I laughed my ass off when Barrett took him out.

guy 1: "ah, no... did you catch who won?"

i currently live on the north side (though after i break up with my girl i don't know where i'm going to go) so i'm surrounded my cubs fans. my mom used to work for jerry reinsdorf though so we'd go to sox/bulls games all the time. i got to sit in the first row for a couple playoff games and i was there the game jordan came back. i can't wait to tell my grandkids that.
