Since I'm both bored and interested in what the combined knowledge of Slap can teach me, this thread is about the earliest appearance of certain tricks in photos/video (and probably plenty of folklore too). Feel free to add (preferably with a video/photo/sequence) and contest others knowledge.

I'll suggest only two since it's late o'clock.

Kickflip backside boardslide on a handrail in 1990 (Sal Barbier from the team ender part in H-Street's This is not the new H-Street Video)

I'm pretty sure this won't have been the first time, but..

Kickflip backside tailslide bigflip out in 2000 (Jesse Erickson in Maple's Black Cat)

I believe the first pole jam was Jeff Hartsel in an ad back around 89. I tried googling it but couldn't find it. It definitely blew my mind at the time.

Chris Cook had a Jimmy'z ad doing a pole jam in 1987. It'll be up on the Thrasher archives in a few weeks.

Their '86 archives are up. 12/86: This is the first photograph of a (non-caveman) handrail boardslide, although Kop wasn't the first person to actually do it.

So sick, being from Hawaii of course I remember that Johnee ad well, he was definitely a gnarly dude in that era of jump ramps and streetplants.
There was an interview or something, can't remember where and they were asking O (the photographer) if Johnee indeed ollied to it or if it was caveman.
O seemed to hint that it was a caveman, and Johnee said it was definitely an ollie to boardslide, guess we'll never know for sure.

I don't like being the resident fact-checker, but the first one on video that I recall was in Sick Boys. Natas. Venice High. 1988 (video release date). It's not online, but you can glimpse a clip from this:

If you want to get into crazy combo shit I'd say all three 101 videos, Questionable, Virtual Reality, Love Child, and Smolik's part from Fulfill the Dream have the most tricks that had never been done before.

barbees flip back 50 was also a mind blower in public domain.
vallely did the first pop shuvit, fakie flip, and halfcab flip i'd ever seen too.
though i'm sure mullen had done them all before these guys.

I know I'm splitting hairs here, but I'd call that a wallride as opposed to a wallie. He rode across and down before coming off the wall, where as a wallie traditionally you just ride up the wall and pop off.

Jason Lee was already doing kickflip back tails in the Blind video, so I'm thinking late 80's. Natas wasn't doing them in the ol' Speed Wheels vids (or did he?), so it was someone in between. Maybe Hensley?

It's really tough to say with alot of early stuff because it wasn't documented.....like Gonz never really had a decent part until the blind video.
