Kickflips

One year ago, I fucked up my ankle a bit and now I have a small ''extra ankle.'' Itt doesn't hurt.
I slightly had to adjust my kickflips because I thought my ankle reacted a little slower.
Before it, I could kickflip all the time and they felt good.
These days I make 1 out of 20 with no speed and rolling over the ground.
It pisses me off so fucking much. It's all in my head. Everyday I hope that the first kickflip I try is a land. But I always miss the flip.

Does somebody recognise this? It makes me less fun to skate with.

I feel your pain! I've jacked my right ankle so many times that it takes it at least 15 minutes to warm up to even move and it gets sore after about an hour of skating.... Everybody told me to wear a brace but that was more restricting. I just rehab it every time after I skate anymore and hope for the best. Kickflips aren't a no-brainer anymore but I've gotten them back to feeling good and poppy again. Just remember skating is 90% mental 10% physical!

i hate lipslides on shitty ledges. i also hate shitty lipslide combo tricks on regular ledges, unless you slide/grind fucking long and with style like puig.

I also hate bluntslides/noseblunts where the nose/tail isnt on the edge of the ledge, theres no excuses, that shit is sloppy as fuck.

people who do pressure flips that look like inward heels and then say that they did an inward heel... omg...

i hate double flips

i hate it when people do 360 shuvs out of nosemanuals, thats the most illegit shit ever

i just hate it when people dont do shit properly. either do it right, or dont.

when people do 5-0s or nosegrinds or 50-50s straight on, specifically backside. I guess if you're trying to grind the entire thing it might be ok, but if the ledge doesn't have an end or you're popping out in the middle, you should come from the side. same thing for noseblunts.

fakie heels are pretty much my most proper flip trick down shit. they look better than my nollie ones. i agree though, you rarely ever see pro's do them in parts or anything in the popular skate media.
