There are actually plenty of really sick, well respected stencil guys out there. If you get caught with a stencil you are Fucked.
Throw up writers need to go home. Stop scribbling bullshit on the walls. Nobody likes your shit, nobody cares about what you wrote, your just a fucking dog pissing on random trees when you do that.
Real pieces on walls and political graffiti is cool though.
I love when you see a piece and wonder, how the fuck did he do that?

High on meth or coke at like 3am. Nah, I kid, but I agree, I see some where they must have dangled from some sketchy shit. Nuts

I'm not super into it, but I know that the hardcore graf dudes arent into the stencil shit. I think that falls more into the 'street art' folder.. like banksy and shit. He does some amazing stuff...

My roomy, some graffitti dude and I got drunk in our appartment and I fulfilled a childhood dream by writing fut on a wall. We had to paint over it early next morning because the landlord called us and said she would come check out if everything was fine.

this was pretty random and inspired by beer.

sums up my graffitti carreer pretty much. at least I was outside and got some fresh air.

I climbed up on top of an Earthfare and spray painted a fish with it's eyes crossed out and wrote "Fish don't have Feelings" above it.  Does that count?

I think it's rad when people are good at it. Bad graf is the worst though. It just sucks.

FDR always had some real gems...The cradle said "Eat A Dick" in two foot tall letters for over a year, but that was a while ago.  Haven't skated Philadelphia in ages.

One of my all time favorites. So much so that I made a hat with that piece on it. Vicky is the proud owner of said hat now.

Public art is the shit.

I am the worlds worst artist but it fun doing stupid characters. I don't like seeing stuff with just people names written no matter how tech it is. The walls at parallel usually had really cool shit on them, like this futurama piece

and this one
Did this in barcy with urkel

I was trying to put a stencil on this empty sign thing on the side of this building, I had to stand on top of a fence to be able to reach it so I put my bag and stuff in a shopping cart at the bottom of a fence and I'm just chillin spraying the stencil on when I hear "Hey,what are you doing up there?!" and my first thought was 'how sick would it be if I just sprayed this fool in the face' but I just looked down and it was some old drunk dude and I just hopped down grabbed my bag and just nonchalantly walked off. The good thing about graffiti is that it really lets you see your town/city in a different light (if you  go out really late and wander looking for spots) it sucks when you see a piece that you did get buffed out though.

its difficult to find photos of guerrilla grammar corrections of signs but the typo eradication advancement league have the right idea. too bad they were arrested for correcting historical signs in the grand canyon. and yes, because i am a nerd this does qualify as graffiti for me.

ahaa! Thanks!

That book looks pretty cool. I see it had a photo of FREEZE in there.

He was in the Style Wars documentary.
I guess I was close...

They called that guy the freeze cause when he'd breakdance he would freeze in the middle of a move.
(like stopping in the middle of a windmill)
That's where it came from.

just felt like sharing that random info.

As for skaters and graf artists, I'll take Jay Meer of neckface any day.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I've seen this stuff around town forever before finding out a good friend of mine for a long time has been doing it

Word has it guy in my avatar doesn't skate anymore, just work and hiding in mud for three hours while cops search for him, seems rad...

I don't really like just letters, they can all look pretty monotonous, characters and faces are really cool though.

I spray painted a bird on a building once, and that night a detective came to my house to talk to me.  He looked exactly like I would expect a detective to look, except he didn't have a pipe.

Another time, my friend painted a sonic on a building, and then Bobby Worrest came and tagged over it.  Bobby Worrest is a jerk.

i thought i was the only one who bruised people with my cum, save it up for about two weeks and release the blast.
