Between 18-20, I got a several band tattoos. They all suck. Fortunately they’re only visible when I’m swimming, which only occurs in public 5-6 times per year.

The only one visible in shorts is my The Clash anklet, which old dudes trip out on 3-4 times a year.

Pink Floyd, Ramones and Motley Crue...

Ramones are one of my favorites still so I don't mind that tattoo all that much while the other two bands were admittedly phases(although I still like them, just not a big fan), so a life long tattoo wasn't warranted.

I was such a naive fool and got them around age 15 and 17, till this day I'm contemplating just getting my sleeves blacked out as getting them removed would be even more costly perhaps.

It sounds shitty to put the blame on someone else, but I grew up with a chicano father who used to peer pressure me into getting tatted up, so obviously being young I didn't pick the most meaningful artwork possible.

yo lets see that Crue tat! i fucki loved that band for the longest time haha thankfully my uncles are all tatted and they told me to never get a band tat and it stuck with me. i was super hyped on Ghosts first album and was gonna get that art and got damn im glad i didnt, they went down hill fast haha

In a way, it's pretty badass you got them so young. An HVAC guy came and installed our furnace who'd given himself a Monopoly Man tattoo when he was 12 - it was pretty big - I figured he must've felt like a G in science class the next day

The Bay Area is finally opening up their tattoo shops after like 6 months. I have been itching to get tattoo but all those guys have been catching up on their appointments so getting in is hard. I finally got word from Andre Malcom though who is a black guy that does Japanese Tattoos and I might be able to get a piece from him. Just getting my chest done but he does mostly body suits but is hopefully able to make an exception on my small request.

I got 3 small-ish animal chin symbols on my forearm (before Jon Comer did), which i have slight regret for? mainly because white people getting asian writing tattooes was a phase that happened right before/after the whole tribal tattoo phase, and i feel like it gets lumped in with that. but most people are stoked when i show them it's actually people on skateboards.

I used to have tattoo regret a lot on my old tattoos but now that it has been 10 years, I sort of dig it again. It is like stamp in your life from back in the days. But also if you hate it that much and they are small, you can always laser it off. Those procedures are like way better than they used to. I just heard it hurts more than actually getting tattooed.
