I feel like tattoos are a bit of mutual masturbation-fest. I mean nobody ever seems to call anyone else out on their shitty tattoos, they are always like "yeah man pretty cool". I'm sure shitty tattoos done by a drunk friend or for a joke are kind of their own genre but you see so many people that put all this thought into it and come up with some deep meaning for the tattoo and the thing still looks like shit(imo). Maybe it is just me but I feel like 90% of work I see is pretty poor.

the chest rash sucks. After I'm done with A&D I sometimes use coco butter. It helps with moisture, itching, etc. Maybe you've got some first growth chest hairs.

Alright- so chest shaving question. I've obviously had to shave other spots for my tattoos as I'm sleeved on both arms, my stomach is also done along with a fair amount of one leg. As you can see in my photo, my chest broke the fuck out after I shaved it. I've never had that happen on any of my other spots. I'm in my 30s. I know how to shave. The blade was brand new. tattoo spots are the worst, aftercare is basically meant to suffocate the skin so it wont breathe and hen scab, the downside is that it clogs pours and when you have shaved they are more exposed.. my chest and forearms broke out.. dont pick em hate they'll go mental and stay for months... just leave em to sort themselves out

never had a problem with my skin after tattooing, always using this for the next 10 ten days, keeping the skin wet. some artist tell that it's good, some recommend a regular body lotion.

Dexpanthenol, Cetylalkohol, almond oil, Octadecan-1-ol, Paraffin, Protegin X, Vaselin, water

Thanks. Its not as fresh as it was in that photo (plus the photo sells it a bit too much) but I like it still. Actually going to go back in finally to get it finished in about 3 months. It will be a bout a year since I got that started. I just want some damn pupils in the eyeballs.

Skull and Sword actually but all those guys know each other. Mine was done by Lango. In retrospect, I wish I went with Yurtado but I am not regretting what I got at all. Perhaps just get something my Yurtado next time. I got a tsunami wave at 7th Son when they had the benefit tattoo even a couple of years back. You can see it on the bottom near my elbow.

And George Campise is sick. I went by the shop a couple of months back and it was super clean. Even saw some paintings of some Creature graphics done by someone there. Not sure if it was George or not but the shop has a nice collection of art work. What kind of tattoo did you get?

Never been to Skull & Sword but heard they do a great job. Yea, that sleeve is turning out supppper sick!! The green shading and gradient is on point. He did do those graphics, and yea, theyve definitely got the minimalist layout working to their advantage. Really nice space to get worked on. I posted the tattoo a few pages back since I got it last December, but heres it again.

Tribute piece to two of my homies who passed away back in 2010, Day of the Dead themed. Dude did some nice touches, like throwing their initials onto the tequila bottle label and whatnot. Yea, 7 hours of straight work, single session, dude handled it. George is a great guy, his talent speaks for itself, and I'd highly recommend you to look into him if you ever expand your canvas. I know I'll be back to him when I get some future work done.

Thanks G!! Yea, they're around that range. I dropped $900 on the 7 hours, plus a $100 deposit I think. Or maybe I did $800 for the session plus the $100 for a total of 9. Cant even remember now. Around $150-$180, but again, the total is somewhat session by session. Also: plan on booking at least 2-3 months in advance.
