Is it still bad luck to get your GF / Wifes name tattood on yourself ? . I used to think so but then I met a friend with a really good marrige and the tattoo

And I was like fuck it , just do it , if it goes shit fuck it

And now they are getting divoreced and I think maybe the curse is true ?

Not into the placement at all, it'll look stupid when it bends and elbows heal in a variety of ways, but I think the tattoo itself and especially the color are really well done.

Monty- I guess if you believe in bad luck, it could be seen that way, but to me it's just not very creative. There's so many other things to do, for instance, my wife used our wedding colors in a tattoo and that's all she wanted for a tattoo that represented our relationship. I might do a classic pin up at some point and I might use her hair color, eye color and her hobby, but I wouldn't use her name anywhere. Still not sure on that. Maybe as an anniversary thing somewhere down the line.

I agree with this, generally names are a bad idea partly because it jinxes the relationship and in my opinion it just looks a bit tacky. If you wanted to honor your other half by inking yourself think about alternative ways, such as like HATE said a pin up style, or something symbolic to the both of you.

of the future GF / Wife . I guess you guys are right , in some ways its a jinx and in some ways its not very creative

I still think ill tattoo my kids names on me though

I've definitely looked on ebay and stuff, but all they had was a skin colored whole arm band that looks like a condom. I'm more down for the shooting arm band that b-ball players use, but not that long and sporty. Any ideas?

If you're around "uptight corpo types" you shouldn't be wearing short sleeves. Man up and buy proper dress shirt.
